Yeah we were very lucky in that aspect, we found quite a few low level ones before hand and even over where we're based, it's rare to get anything above level 50 so it was a great find! She is very pretty 😁
I jumped off my Argent many times too, until I remapped the keys and swapped the E and G keys. It only takes a little time to remember to urs the G key as the use key. Once you get used to it you will never jump off on accident
When I was a kid I watched the gas gauge as dad drove across country convinced he wouldn't refill in time between towns. Now I watch stamina bars on flyers and was convinced PP would fall, but he always recharged in the nick of time. Then Jay fell.... Didn't you hear us all shouting? Must be too much creature noise in the Redwoods to hear anything....
Haha I think my ears were straining listening for thylas and microraptors haha and then the wind and blood in my ears while I was falling LOL but yeah, usually I never run out of stamina but you get this weird knock to your awareness and focus when you start recording, it's odd.
@@CinnamonSwirlSquirrel Phlinger's got tons and tons of experience so he makes recording/playing look easy. You're also in a situation where it's harder to throw away a take and start over. When performing before an audience, the brain becomes hyper-alert three steps ahead of the audience, environment, and possible scenarios, all while making it look easy. The benefit of experience. You're getting there.

at least on each map I have a ooops i pressed E button moment while flying lol I am to Chicken ( sicín) to grab a thyla from a tree using an Argent which is s embarssing because I am am old man lol I think thjat it is besacue did try acouple of times and was snipped oof my argent and then died when landing on the long trip to the ground . one thing that I still dont understand and that is why cant a barry be pickup up but a thyla can be picked up with an Argy I remmeber when I could pick up a barry with a Argy but they changed it I mean why would they do that since most times barrys are in the water and silly people like me liked to try and pick them up out of the water and ususally would end up in the water stunned whith my Argent hovering just above me . when I am not playing through the ARK se story I either start on rag mostly grab a horse then come back to the Island then later on go back to Rag grab a breeding pair of thylas come back , then later to gen map get some tek dinos like rexes from that one space biome . it would be pretty cool if they had Tek thylas . I spotted two thylas in trees one was just behind the titanasuar while you were flying towards it adn the second one was a few seconds later when you were fly back towards tha tblue drop and ran out of stamina ut was just to the left and behind the bluedrop all I was saying out loud was to your left but you ran out of stamina but then yo spotted it level 20 in the tree , wow what happene while you were killing your thyla you repeawns at the tree bed lol heaing philnger stammer wit h" the torch barer has one job made me giggle he sound like a child when a parent turns off the bedroom light and almost crys hehe the odds of finding a high level thyla on the ISland are really not that god and youtwo fin da level 145 wow nice
Yeah I don't do it much anymore but I do have the occasional instance when I set my fingers wrong lol. Hey, it's an intimidating thing but it helped that there was 2 of us and we had a bed nearby, I didn't have a shoulder pet either and my argent was in the air so it was just corpse recovery I had to worry about. I do love Rag, it's not in this cluster unfortunately but if I am playing a map like this then I'll try to stick to whatever map I'm playing to catch things. I enjoy the early game, and although we are high level and have gen 2 loot in our base via basemates I still feel like it should be early game. So I'm trying to play accordingly. Haha yup, he gets that way sometimes lol

Ah, that pesky "E" button on a flyer, I've done that a few times too 🙂 I once even had a parachute on my hot bar ;-)

That's a smart option because 'g' isn't used for anything else in Ark as far as I'm aware ... or most games really so it's a good substitute

You can put your torch on Argy saddle so you have light without holding a torch in your hand.
That will give extra light and heat with torch on saddle and your hand at same time.

You can turn off default survivor items in options menu so you dont get all those skins everytime you die.
