Fans were initially apprehensive when they split up the Fantastic Five, but the rivalry between Lex and Superman was so well written and the new villain Dr. Doom so popular that fans soon forgave the split. Superman still treats the Fantastic 4 like family. And they feel the same back to him. Future team ups between them feel less like crossovers and more like reunions.
Dude. Remember when Kara and Johnny dated? NGL I was a HUGE Kara and Johnny Shipper back in the day. Their team book was not exactly fantastic, no pun intended, but it did gave us some awesome characterd and plotlines for future events. Age of OMAC anyone?
@@stealthynaxo Eh, Johnny had so little character development by that point... It was like two different Time Eras trying to date each other. Kara really helped bring Johnny into a more modern depiction but it was still weird at the start, I couldn't get into it. And don't get me started on OMAC. Most convoluted plot in comic history.
@@Nicholas86753 I do have to agree on the convoluted. But DAT annual man. When we in the last panel when we Metron next to the Watcher?! I was like.... Holy shit.
To me the best villain in the Fantastic Five has to be The Galactic Brain, seeing the giant robotic planet eater shrink cities down as nutrients was truly horrifying
Imagine starting off parodying a series of then current commercials using action figures of the stars of then current super hero movies and years later having that same project evolve to create a joint comic book universe that flows together like this.
I gotta say, most times people try to combine Marvel and DC into one universe, it doesn't end up that appealing, but in this case, it's blending seamlessly and I love it.
Even when Marvel and DC tried it themselves a couple times, it didn't feel this fluid or natural. The difference is, this version has a whole lot of thought and heart behind it - you can tell that RandomGuy has spent a very, very long time thinking about the logistics of combining both universes and is also drawing on his years of experience doing crossover stories with his parody videos to make a superior crossover. Most other fan attempts are usually just cramming the characters together without thinking about the logistics or ramifications on the world, and in the case of the official crossovers, they were made as obvious cash grabs without caring about anything like that.
@@Dargonhuman Being a very knowledgeable fan and a gifted storyteller, Random Guy indeed has done it better than Marvel & DC with their own characters!
I always loved how Random guys spiderman was a much more lighthearted and contrasting character to batman's more worldy and brooding batman, the pair not only manage to be Entertaining like in the early days when they would team up in either pairs or trios with superman but they would end up being a much better fit than any superman/batman comic in recent memory, dare I say in the last 25 to 30 years and I understand that's high praise but you have to understand the modern comic book industry like the old one have sloped down hill like the speeding bullet superman out runs every time he's booty called by Louis Lane okay? In short, any day with batman/spidey teaming up in what seems to be random's united-verse is welcomed with open arms.
I find it curious, and perhaps telling, that Luthor specifies the allegations against him were "unproven." Not false, fabricated, or mistaken--"unproven".
Hope you put that line from Spidey "I was waiting for Superman to call..." Then Batman gave him the Bat-Stare. That was from the team-up against Joker and Carnage comic. It was great!
@@Hewylewis Thats what I meant. Mutants pop out and somehow Lex would spin it to blame it on superman accussing him of contaminating the human Gene pool and such.
I like how Superman in this universe fills the shoes of the Sentry in marvel comics. A Superman who is altruistic and inspires the marvel heroes to become heroes! Only this Superman isn’t batshit insane!
Hey guys! If RandomGuy's videos could be drawn as comic book art, which comic book artist(s) would you want to do the art? For me, I might pick Erik Larsen to capture both the humor and suspense, but there are so many others! Who are your picks? 🙂
I can't help but notice that this shows a minor way Reed is a better man than Doom in that he ISN'T devoting a disturbing amount of his time trying to get revenge on Luthor and lets him just run back to Metropolis with his tail between his legs.

This channel is highly underrated
Random Guy always putting Bats and Spidey together. Great pair
They are pretty similar when you think about it.
Honestly I would love to see them interact
Fun fact! That image is taken from a 1995 Batman/Spider-Man team up story where they go against the joker and carnage!

This makes so much sense! I am excited for Batman and Spider-Man next!
I’m so glad to see a return from one of the best youtubers. The MDCU lives!
Oh, boy! I can't wait for the next part in 8 more months!
Well, there goes the Fantastic Five. Still, it was great while it lasted.
So help me god, if Peter's moms name is Martha...

Should’ve known those two would be together. Feels ridiculous that I even had to ask.
I wish more than anything that this was a real comic
Aw. I wanted to see what Superman's hypothetical Fantastic 5 suit would have looked like.
Probably a 5 stylised into an S
Looking forward to seeing Spider-Man and Batman interacting with each other.
Yes! Bats and Spidey! Just like they alluded to all the way back in RandomGuy's "Happy Hour." I'm looking forward to this.
what's next is spider-man gonna be the founder and leader of the teen titans?
Now that's a Marvel-ous idea!
This is awesome its great to see your content again I used to watch your channel all the time as a child
Wow, that makes me feel old as I was already an adult when I watched those early videos...
I'm crying thank you so much for this gift of a series.
