Love it when a plan comes together I know it’s off topic found a great automatic transmission service centre, he found the last guy who dis the services forgot to put the magnets back in, anyway bloody good information
I first came across a blocked oil suction screen decades ago doing an oil change on a HJ60 back in the 80's. after dropping the oil, for some reason I poked my little finger into the sump plug hole and could feel a loose nut lying in there. thinking this could be something serious, removed the sump to investigate further. the nut must have been dropped in there during engine assembly as nothing was missing, but the pickup screen was blocked 90% with tar. removed and washed it with kero and no more issues. a couple of years later had a job working on large industrial diesels and gas engines, same applied to them except that the gas engines were clean as a whistle inside
I just serviced my car cleaned oil pick up month later cracked piston. well. I don't know. but after 3 days of trying everything I can. car is stuffed. can't start life sux
If the oil pick up was blocked it can cause things to run hot and contribute to the problem but most likely you’ve got the original old Flogged INJECTORs in there and they are the cause of the Cracked Piston as described in the Injector information playlist please check it out
Injectors are 70k new. I got ripped from a joint in thomastown. What's a new motor worth. Is it worth it. Think I'll text you tomorrow and hopefully we can work something out.

Oil pickup blockage will cause a oil pressure drop at high RPM and the oil light will come on at high rather than low RPM.
Nice info Anthony
next oil change i'm on it !! 🤗
O what a feeling ! Butter bing
great information ℹ️
This the first tome ive heard of the oil pickup.
