I'm mostly a 80's and 90's Metal guy, but by god I can't help but love this old country stuff. Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash, Wille Nelson Etc.
I grew up on hip-hop and punk rock. If I knew about this music as a kid, I’d probably be a musician. Waylon is probably my favorite. Merle is a beast as well. True outlaws and I’ve got that outlaw mentality.
I like punk and early metal but a lot of country music is better they can sound good with just an acoustic guitar and their voice they don't even need a microphone
