    Nice video and thank you for clarification of the situation. Yes all of our engines are sealed and coded now to protect both the buyer and seller. We are serious about our end users experience and only want you to receive the best.

      Thank you. I have to say what feels right to me. This engine runs surprisingly well. I discovered the differences with the XRB, beyond the visible differences like the cuts there are actually parts specific to the Dusty, it's very interesting. I'm curious now to compare my dirt to my M5S and I'm tempted to buy a dirt R

    What a shame man, one of my lrp .28s was like that on my savage twin. I couldn’t tune it for crap and it ran very inconsistent then I saw raw fuel coming out the front bearing, took the flywheel off and I was able to spin the bearing seal with my finger. Replaced it and it was like brand new after. Great video as always

      Totally agree! Thanks to my sad experiences with the reds and this engine, now i know exactly the sound of a defective bearing.. I will be paying attention to the bearings and change them more oftem, plus ceramic bearings are not very expensive and it can save your engine!

    Great power! Looks like a good engine. I just had an engine fail on break in. Firts a leaky glow plug because the head button was machined badly. Then front bearing was bad. After all that, the backplate was leaking. Just a dud. They sent me a whole new engine. Runs perfect.

    Damn rain. It was almost perfect. Just a minute more lean on the low and idle gap it would be a perfect tune. Runs very good now. That we didn't hear those bearings still bugs me. Definitely need to rebuild my P3TT and see if the damage from the coating is the issue.
    Hope i can get that to run good again.

      @@TastyBRC I know exactly what to listen for, but on a new engine you aren't listening for that. it's like your cognitive brain just doesn't focus on that. And that bothers me.

    That engine has got really good bottom end. I wonder how your run times will be now? Some times when they tune them(Ielasi tune) like that it should maybe some times increase your run time hopefully. Yeah that sounds a lot better with the new bearings.

    • @TastyBRC
      @TastyBRC  Год назад

      Bottom end was really good, even with the reds 2104pipe, wich is definitely a top end pipe. I want to try again with the ielasi 2186, I love the sound of that pipe. Im also curious about the mielage, also going to compare that to the XRB, thats going to be very interesting.

    Whoa there, careful saying a leaking front bearing is causing tuning issues, you're going to upset the "front bearing is merely a dust shield and has nothing to do with air sealing" people.

    Idle is much better 💯
    - So, I’m confused about what Ielasi said about their “Guarantee sticker”…. Did they offer to fix or replace anything on your engine? Ielasi engines are expensive and I agree with you, they should be close to perfect when you get them.
    I assume you bought the bearings yourself, right?
    - I’m happy you were able to get her all fixed up and running well now. It’s always frustrating chasing idle issues
    - Looking forward to the vid where you compare the OS engine. That’s the very best way to learn
    Thanks for the fun vid Tasty 🩷

      I dont know if it is because of my first video but a few weeks after that video Ielasi annouced that now the engines will come with a guarantee seal. I got scammed by the seller so didnt complained to ielasi.
      I could have send it back to the seller instead.
      Comparison vid with the stock xrb will be very interesting, revealing Ielasi's secrets! Ielasi tuned USA dinot wanted to tell me about the dusty specs compared to the xrb but now I know 😁

      @@TastyBRC I could guess how you got scammed but, how exactly did you? Is the engine counterfeit or used or what exactly?

    • @TastyBRC
      @TastyBRC  Год назад

      @@a2rc no, it was not used, brand new but came with some scratches on the piston, minimal stuff but proof of a handling issue. Also rust inside the crankshaft, ielasi puts a dissecant bag just like you, so obviously this engine got disassembled and treated with no care..
      The only complain I can make of Ielasi's work is the DLC, no dlc inside the crankshaft , defintely cheaper dlc than what you usually get with a OS engine.

    • @a2rc
      @a2rc Год назад

      @@TastyBRC Thanks for the explanation. I remember you showing us the condition which, was sad for a brand new top of the line engine
      - It is probably a good thing for the company and customer, to see the sealed sticker now. That way no one has to guess if it was opened and messed with or not
