  • Ingredients
    1 tablespoon vegetable oil
    1 pound slice steak
    1 onion,
    1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
    1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flake
    1 (10 ounce) package frozen green peas and carrots
    1 Green pepper
    1 can diced tomatoes
    Best cabbage stew is here. We use leftover stew meat when we have it for a second meal that doesn’t take long at all to make. Of course you can start with fresh meat too and cook at the beginning but it’s a great night after one pot meal.
    Cabbage Stew
    If you have only made Dutch oven stew in the past, this is much lighter. You don’t even have to add protein into the mix and it is still great. Sometimes I’ll make this on the side with our corned beef brisket if I don’t want to cook it all together
