Just went 2 - 3. Thanks for making draft videos. I've been looking for this for quite some time. It's nice to have a jump off point to start figuring out Lorcana...
I’m glad you liked them - welcome to the Lorcana community!!! This set is really fun to draft but is maybe a little harder since there’s so many uninkables that you’ll want to play. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to post here or reach out on Twitter! @boglorcana on Twitter
That's awesome! Congratulations!!! That's a really great result with so many people! Did you feel there were any cards that overperformed or underperformed for you?
That’s fair - I’ve done well with more, but it’s also easy to end up in a tough situation with too many. I’ve always found I draft such aggressive decks coupled with card advantage, such that I’m never ending the game without cards in hand, so it’s never been a bad top deck for me because it’s usually an easy one to throw out with whatever I still have in hand, but obviously if you’re out of cards in hand you never want to top deck a one drop reckless
I think I might have been unfair to Ed, but it still makes me nervous having extra 4 drop uninkables 😂. Still, any 3 lore character into Heihei is 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
about 9 minutes in.... Rapunzel's Tower is an absolute beast in sealed. Giving everything +3 butt without any consistent removal in the set is a game winner. Parking a hei-hei at Tower is GG.
Just got 2nd in my draft last night. It definitely helped to be prepared (ha). Sometimes I would make a hard choice and then still get my 2nd choice when the card stack came back. Underrated card for me is Emerald Chromicon. Absolutely insane control card and it makes it so hard for your opponent to clear anything. Daisy Duck was overrated imo, great quester but in draft, giving your opponent card draw is rough. Support is amazing, not a lot of great support cards, but Tuke and Basil actually came in clutch to get rid of a library or mine.
Admittedly I *just* had a draft where I broke my own rule, but I try to keep to within 6-8 in a 40 card deck. I just went 3-0 with eleven uninkables, so it’s possible to have more, but you have to mulligan VERY carefully, make sure you keep almost anything that’s inkable and only mulligan uninkables.
Great question! It breaks my heart that it’s not, because I love efficient evasive questers. I cover it in the video but effectively there’s so many amazing cards at 4-6 ink that I tend to want more controlling cards early to make sure I get to the late game. I 3-0 today against several opponents with Archimedes that I ran over. One guy got two out on the play turns 3&4 and it still wasn’t close. I ran into one with daisy and the other I shot down with stitch.

Went 3-0 tonight thanks to your videos! Got some great tips. Thank you good sir.
That’s so wonderful to hear thank you for sharing!!! What were some highlight cards for you? What cards overperformed?
Heading into my first draft today, this video definitely taught me some things I wouldn’t have thought about otherwise. Thanks!
That’s awesome! Thank you! Let me know how it goes 🙌🏻
got 2nd in my second ever draft last night, thanks for the tips buncha bangers
Congratulations!!! That’s awesome! And thank you for saying so 🙏. Any cards that stood out as being particularly good?
This helped a lot I got 2nd place in my 19 player draft.

Thnx buddy, just got second place with an OK deck because of you 🎉
Great to hear! What cards do you feel overperformed/underperformed?
4 cost stitch, 3 cost felix, and HeiHei were stars. 4 cost Ed surprised me as well, specially followed by HeiHei, super aggressive.
I would be caution drafting too many 1 cost Arthur, awful top deck. I felt that 2 is ok, 3 is too many.

For my draft tonight I think I’m most hoping to crack Jafar. I will absolutely force Mufasa if I open him 😂

Absolutely - sealed games tend to be slower so something like Rapunzels tower is more likely to have a big impact.

Great to hear! Thanks for the insight 🫡. I do love it when no one else values cards like I do and I get both my picks 😂
And one question, maybe you answer but i didnt listen it, how many inkable cards? Thanks a lot! Regards from Spain!

@@BeOurGuestLorcana I won my draft day!!! Thanks for all!!!
@cps972 amazing!!!! Thank you for sharing!!! Any card(s) that overperformed for you? Or underperformed for that matter lol
Why is the 3 drop Archimedes not a top pick? Seems like a two quester for 3 as evasive would be crazy.

Mother Gothel (2-drop) won me 2 of my 6 games. Turn 5 bounce their 4/5 drop is destructive. Bounce a Mini or a couple Zazu and their math is off
Same! I’m going to do a recap of a draft I did last night and mother gothel definitely overperformed
I like bread.
Delicious delicious bread…
