Hi Retr0rob, thanks for the video! I ordered the Technos Super Pocket myself, but I will say the Atari special edition does look super sweet! Nice work on showing off the games, I really appreciated the detailed thoughts on Lost Tomb and the device as a whole.
Fun fact: Atari got their name from the Japanese board game GO. Saying the word Atari during a match would be the same as saying "check mate" while playing a round of chess.
I'm still waiting for mine to arrive. I like a lot of the games that were included with the Technos version, but I already had a lot of those on previous cart releases. When I saw Warbirds and Turbo Sub were included, as well as Fatal Run, I decided to get it.
@Retr0Rob You will do fine just take it easy be gentle 😅 I bought the red & black Atari Super Pocket so I could keep my wood grain nice. I don't know if you bought Evercade stuff from Songbird Productions here in the U.S but there wonderful I have purchased from them since the Lynx days also you get your Evercade items minus Pegi symbol which looks nicer imo. The Red & Black looks amazing matte finish mo prints and the box art is great too 😎
What number did you get? I was waiting for you to blame something like you do on the live feeds so I’ll do it for you. The scan lines messed you up in the racing game.🎃
I think the number one question has to be, we know you said it has 50 preloaded games installed on it. Does it have a spot for external storage so you can add more games onto it which would be the only advantage of the handheld and the only thing that would make it worth it?

Too bad the technos super pocket doesn't come with the arcade games WWF superstars and WWF wrestlefest. If it did, I may get it 🙂
I love the old school wood style design on it!
Yeah. looks good in person too!

Crystal castles is one of my favorites!

@@jmatt781 I agree 3 games that make the package sweeter Robo Squash is a good time as well.
❤To open boxes without destroying then use a plastic knife or a butter knife under the flap used this for decades 0 destroyed boxes 😊
@@PongbyAtari Challenge accepted! I bet I could totally manage to mess that up! 🤪

Rob have you picked up an EverSd that along with ECB what a great way to safely curate cart collection.
"I"m a sucker though, I keep buying these..."
Meanwhile, Anbernic just released another new device in the time took to watch this video.
@@Supramedical68 Bwahahahaha right? Maybe 2!

2051. Too bad eh! Tssch! Saturn's alignment with Jupiter is clearly to blame for my poor gameplay!
The poor diagonal control is why I returned my Capcom Super Pocket.
I think the shallow D-pad really does harm some games.
@@Retr0Rob Yes, it works best on games that just use basic NSEW controls... like the Taito games

As mentioned it runs Evercade carts.
Yes yes it is to me 😊
