so I'm curious the smaller hole you had to start with, how did you do taht one? I have a leg of a assembled piece of furniture that has holes punched through so you can put a bold/cap knut on it. But one side is not fully punched out and I'm not sure what tool could fixc that.
ah so it has a pull stroke. I was hoping to somehow convert to punching solid disks, but this cuts holes. good tool to have tho I'd liked if you tested it material limit
I’ve been using this thing for 2 days & it leaks hydraulic fluid from the ram whenever I disconnect the ram. It’s almost like it has to be held upside down before disconnecting from the ram to prevent leakage
Go git it Gina! Only with a voice like this can you get away saying the phrase "dimple dies" over and over and still be cool. I noted that this punch will work up to 11 gauge/1/8 inch Mild steel.
I was thinking of using it as a pin puller on seized pins on tilt cylinders or bearing puller when I'm doing king pins on forklifts. Btw how much travel does the piston have? 1" , 2"?
When you put a hole in a part, you make it weaker and more flexible. By dimpling the edges of that hole you actually make the part stronger and less flexible. So it gives you the opportunity to make a part lighter in weight yet stronger than it was before. I'm aware of this from building racecars.
Thanks for doing a review. Even at the price you paid I have been on the fence about this thing. Hole sizing is still an issue though.
Thank you. I have been pondering buying one of these form tube amp holes. Looks good
Thats sweet, sitting here trying to come up with an excuse to buy one 😂
TheStruggleville caught me red handed.
😂👍👍
" they have it cheaper today !"
What a useful tool. Thanks for the demonstration.
Well shit…. Didn’t think I needed one but now thinking about punching holes for gauges.. sold!
I’m sold as soon as he said damn. 😅
Damn Gina!!! That's awesome brother!😀
Was $78 after tax? Cause they’re on sale for $80 right now. After tax it’s $106
thanks for showing, I though it came with dies

Can't they produce some square punches with it?
Dayum.... daayum, dayum! ❤😂

Best 100 bucks I've spent!

Ram has 1" total stroke.
I’m wanting this. Do you have a set of dies for sale ? Or some you recommend?
Damn Gina!!!
Exelente herramienta
Would it punch stainless steel, if so how thick?
You don’t need to center it just favor one side and just keep going on that one side
Ahh, the good old days with 20% off coupons.
man
Dang I’m here looking for a way to make 3/8 by 3-1/2” fender washers. So close.
What do you do with the dimples?
Make neat parts for my hondas
I know what's in the package...I see the picture on the case ..unless you believe the manufacturer is lying...
What are dimple dies used for ?
