The English letting down the HR was frustrating. The HR guy was doing incredible stuff, on point with macro and all. Damn he almost chopped 4 people nearly alone.
Always fun to watch! That last game was kind of painful though, it hurts watching people give the second wonder players the win. What's the rationale in helping yourself lose? People really need to normalize demanding the second wonder deletion, it's just proper play and makes the games more interesting
can we get an "im building to many villagers, I need to unhotkey that shit" announcement for a 10 dollar dono or something lol its a meme in my brain and I feel like it needs to be a thing lol
In both games the holy Romans hit fast imperial while their team mate was behind in age ups. I wonder if the ally was focusing on eco and feeding HRE resources to go fast imperial so they could steamroll a neighbour? It's an interesting strategy if true. Also, the Rangers of Ithilien with faramir you mentioned is really good at low points games in the LotR TT game. They have no bow limit which let's them out shoot most factions. They fall off above 500pts though because they have no big heroes, monsters or magic.
I love the Turin - Gun hound combo, so much fun to watch you guys play together! Really like Gun hounds chilled out attitude, it complements Turin's amazing commentary super well IMO. Can't wait to see the next tag-team rumble 😎
Pink and Green combo late game seemed line one good player playing on two different PC's in different rooms, just running from one PC to another, trying to macro and then running back, forgetting to set a proper rallying point, etc. lmao
Mongols with advanced forestry take trees down in one hit. The regular forestry just reduced the 4 hits down to 2 I believe. I think you can also interrupt these initial chops (which are quite slow) by issuing commands while the villager is doing it. Mongols can get through pretty quickly doing it properly.
Great stream, great games! The last match was a bit painful to watch though. It seemed pink and green could have flattened the opposing armies so many times had they built a few springalds to kill mangonels (or off course network of castles, proper rally points). But watching that fight at the breach felt like trying to punch in my dreams.
Your mention of the LOTR tabletop game triggered me, sorry - like most GW games, it's an overpriced and unbalanced mess that will just frustrate you - overpriced even by 40k and Fantasy standards, it's unreal. I used to have a Moria army back in the day, long before even the Hobbit movies came out, and it was a regular thing to end up fighting cheesy nonsense such as Boromir, Legolas and a line of elven archers, which would shoot, move back, shoot, move back, shoot. Then when you finally got there, you had hilariously OP characters like Boromir to slaughter you.
Just want to encourage you guys to cast a glance at your nation's resources, and take a shot at the mini-map for combat- in the real world. Sadly society is collapsing and being distracted by games is going to leave us like a Dark Age Vill against a Fuedel Age society under a small tyrannical government entering post-Imp in the real world, right? We might have months left of a stable society, and if you're waiting until then to develop your stable base of real life, you might greatly regret all the time you spent on this game. There's positive, supremely productive things we can do with our time- but the window of efficiency is about to slam shut.
@@gun_hound As you say. The bottom line is that both you and Mr Badabuchi need to learn macro. In your game with Turin, he pulled you the whole game. It was the same in the final, Mr Badabuchi did not help his ally in any way, but rather was a hindrance.
@@GordonKast Oh, I know. I'm straight up a silver level player who has time to play about 3 to 4 matches a week. But I do welcome any feedback! Hopefully anyone who sees me can say, "Damn, I'm better than that guy!" And be encouraged to jump in with us!
@@gun_hound So watch how Turin plays. Of course, he is also not without sin, but he plays correctly and accurately. And about joining you, now in Russia this game cannot be bought)))
@@GordonKast Can't be bought in Russia? That legit sucks. Sorry to hear that. Lots of bronze level players in the world. Even they are welcome and encouraged to play in our FFA's! Assuming their country allows it. I feel bad for those who can't.
I know right? Where do they keep finding these guys? Why don't they let a few more Conqueror level players in? But honestly, thanks for tuning in and supporting Turin!
The goodness of wathching a Turin video / stream in the morning with some coffee since 2016... can't get better.

@@nanahcubsemaj we built in the south worried about turin, then like 50 spears ran into my base from the north and i massed horses. Felt bad.

man, your AoE 4 streams are the best!

Sad I missed it live, GH even told me during the infamous age of the die being cast. Commenting before finishing, hope you guys did well!

Gun Hound, not enough military production mate, u need a lot more stables, at least 30… you gotta spam units like Turin.
Anyway, Love u guys.
No doubt. Give me a few more years and I'll be passable at this game. 😉
Oh the sweet Boomer Legion strikes again! Love this format of play and you two as a team!!

That English player was so incredibly frustrating to watch... what in the world was he doing
how did green from last game ended in that finale ?( even a beginer would play better)
12:28 gameplay
19:47 actual first game starts
When will next FFA be?
The next tournie should be next week! Keep an eye out, and I'll get a sign-up sheet soon!
@@gun_hound great. Thanks
Next tournament sign-up sheet is live!

Tell Gun_Hound to be more demanding, you had like 11k wood when he needed wood for repairs...
Message heard loud and clear!
Oh man, that green player broke my heart.
On my fav civ! Nice and remember that golden gate helps a lot with getting that stone for the wonder. Nice tourney!
loving the Age content but sad to see this stream was mostly a cast game. Much prefer watching you play (either FFA or 1:1) :)
Hope to do better next 2v2v2v2 so we can give you a 100% play stream!
I agree, casted games are ok but i much prefer when Turin plays as it gives the match more focus and stakes.
