  • I’ve used Koch Chemie Green Star as a APC for around a year now & it’s brilliant very versatile, Gentle SnowFoam has been sitting on my shelf for a good 8-6 months and finally ma hard to try it out.
I can’t believe how well GSF & Green Star work together it’s absolutely amazing the change that happens when they are both mixed together is brilliant it has that extra kick that I like from a ore wash snowfoam. On its GSF is a could PH neutral snowfoam and cleans that car well, combine them both together & it’s a whole new format.
Both these products are very versatile and could be the only 2 products you purchase and most of your detail tasks completed. If I wanted to be minimalistic I could replace most of my detailing products on my shelf with both these products. Green Star can be diluted according to your needs.
If that wasn’t enough they are ridiculous cheap depending on the dilution ratio. I discuss this further in the video. You don’t need to buy 5litres etc 1 litre if each bottle is sufficient and would last you a significant amount of time.

Good review, GSF is a great cost effective product. I love the smell too! As a pro on dirtier cars I use Koch AF which is really GSF & Green Star mixed I am told, (tho am not sure about that!) Loving the car by the way, that's clearly well looked after!

Hi thanks, I do try stay on top of it I find regular cleaning actually keeps it looking in good condition. GSF is a fantastic product it’s very versatile and I’ve recently started to like products that give me more that fact that it can be used a shampoo in a bucket and also as snowfoam saves you buying 2 individual products. If you want the extra kick add Greenstar as you mentioned. Prices have increased since this video was initially released but still very cost affective. Thanks for watching 😄

The first pass was runnier than I expected, but I don’t mind that as much when moving faster. It did a pretty good job too with that consistency which makes up for it

I ‘used’ to love a thick shaving foam but after try out other snowfoam’s I prefer a runny thick consistency saves a lot of time works more or less immediately, other than Garage Therapy Zero Decon this maybe my new favourite products.

Just getting stuff together to do my first wash. Using BH Surfex HD on lower third then overlaid with KC GSF, rinse off then KC NMS for the contact wash. I maybe should have got GS instead of Surfex for the pre-wash but apparently its a great product too and also cheap per wash due to dilution. Do you add a sealant to your car after washing with GS? Over time it will kill any coating you have. NMS is a great product as it contains wax as well as the shampoo.

      Hi
Surfex & Greenstar are both great products. You can mix them in with GSF apparently if you mix Greenstar & GSF it creates Koch’s Activefoam.
I do use a sealant usually i used to teach for a spray and rinse if sealant like Wet Coat by Gyeon or something from Turyke Wax but have moved over to shampoos such as Gyeon Bathe+ I really like there’s or Turtle Wax Ceramic Wash. I found Bathe+ more versatile you can use in a bucket or snowfoam cannon. Turtle Wax Ceramic Wash dilution ratios are and instructions are varying and they don’t mention anything about a foam cannon but I still use it in a cannon. Good luck.

I added just 10ml of gs to 1lt solution of gsf. It was a thick foam even I use a hand pressured basic foamer. I think too much gs is the reason for weak foam

Interesting ill give that a try in future. Still need to tweak it to find the perfect ratio.

I use bilt hamber mostly throughout tge year and if the car is really dirty I add approx 10ml green star to it 😅 I have always thought tho does this green star effect my lsp much

I mainly use Autofoam but from the GSF dilution ratios and cost per wash im tempted to switch over.
Greenstar will degrade LSP, I used it whilst conducting durability tests & was actually surprised at its strength.
