For anyone concerned. I’m 5.2’/160cm tall with 74cm inseam and purchased 390 duke 2019 as my first bike. I can tip toe one foot. Due to the bike being light and small, riding is comfortable as long as you are comfortable using one foot. Overall, I cannot be happier with this as first bike even though it feels way too light and a bit underpowered for the place I live in (Moscow and outskirts). If you are a shortie like me, get either something tall and light, or short and heavy, but don’t go “tall and heavy”.
Thank You for sharing Anna....are yiu able to ride it in traffic....???In India if i buy this....i have tor manage in heavy traffic....thats my concern.... I am 5.2 male from India... i am planning to test ride a few bikes... will also check this out..
@@harishsahastv1014 Yes, I always run in heavy traffic. The seat height is an advantage as I can see above cars. I don't ever touch the ground until full stop e.g. at traffic lights. Balance is everything... I mostly do paved roads and highways, the quality of roads matters. Tried gravel road once, was great too. Riding uphill is ok as long as I can tip-toe the ground to balance when stopped. The bike is awesome to ride gymkhana as well. Opened that pandora box for me.

Hello how are you? Great video, and I have a question. I'm in Colombia and I have to send it to Manufacture here, I need it for a DUKE 200 2024, do you know how much length I can take off the piece, compared to the Original. thank you.
Very good explanation video, super clear, where you get that bushing from what I understood is just that to go down one centimeter. greetings from Argentina!
1-2 inches won't really matter. Just be mindful of speed bumps and approach with caution. When you get into 3-4" it definitely affects your exhaust hitting things.
Do you have a video showing the Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 being lowered? I am 5’6 with a 31 inch inseam and I looked like you did when you sat on this Duke before you lowered it. I’ve sat on every single Duke from the 390 on down to the 200 and I still cannot flat foot any of them. Now I know the Svartpilen shares a lot of similarities with the dukes and I know that it can be lowered but I need to know if someone like me can fit that bike because I seriously am considering buying it but I need it lowered

People don't realize how tall those lower cc KTM's are from the factory! I wanted to test ride the 390 Adventure and it was pretty tall! Glad to see you uploading again. Keep it comin'! 🙌🏾
Hey there, I did the lowering kit for my wife and it works great, just put the shorty kickstand on, am having a sensor issue, the stock magnet plate doesn't properly work with the new kickstand, or I did something wrong, anyone had this issue?
I had the same issue with mine, I ended up cutting off the sensor magnet that T-Rex welded to the kickstand, smoothed it out and repainted it then installed the factory sensor in place of it, works perfectly now
When you lower the rear with the same kickstand the bike will be more upright with less lean angle. If it’s not adjusted to a shorter kickstand the bike will easily tip opposite of the kickstand lean with a very slight push
To lower? I don't recommend that because then you're sacrificing stability. You ever ride a moped with skinny tires and an upgraded engine? It starts to shake at speed because there's not enough tire wall to keep up

@@carmendieppapizarro3284 You need to reduce the rear shock spring preload to min. From the factory they are set at either 4 or 5 out of a max of 10 and this is crazy for such a tiny light bike. The rear spring is big enough to be on a GSXR1000 or an R1!!!!!!! I have no idea what KTM were thinking.

@@MaxamillionEd thanks, that makes sense.
You need to level the bike and not leave the front higher or the bike will NOT turn in or handle like it should.
