Because this is a smaller set it does display a smaller amount of digits. However, if you go into the GPS info menu you will find more detailed GPS information.
In the UK our government body requires that all Marine DSC radios are allowed only two attempts at inputting the MMSI number. If this is done incorrectly your only solution is to take the radio to a qualified Icom marine dealer who will be able to program the MMSI number for you.

If I plug an external speaker to this does sound come out the vhf and speaker or just the speaker?
