Great Compassion Bodhi Prajna Temple extends an invitation to all virtuous individuals to support the global dissemination of Dharma teachings. Nestled in the serene forests of northern Toronto, Canada, our temple has dedicated a decade to adult Buddhist education and the cultivation of mindfulness in Western society. Unfortunately, the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic has led to a decline in resources and donations. Nevertheless, we persist in our unwavering commitment to our initial aspiration of "propagating the Dharma in Western countries."
Abbot Venerable Master Miao Jing recognizes the crucial need to sustain Buddhist education. In the early stages of the pandemic, she embarked on the mission to propagate the Dharma through RUclips online channels. However, this online propagation requires expensive hardwares, and our dedicated volunteers invest their time weekly in video productions. To ensure the continuous sustainability of our Dharma propagation mission, we earnestly invite virtuous supporters from around the world to join us as members, share the benevolent intentions, and support the long-term operations of the Buddhist mission at the Great Compassion Bodhi Prajna Temple. Meditation:
“Ordinary mindfulness Tao 道 will keep the defilements in check, but it will not give rise to deep insights. Theoretical knowledge is not enough either. Philosophical thinking and speculation arise from shallow concentration; insight arises only from deep concentration Zen 禪 One’s realisation of the truth of suffering must be direct and empirical. How deep that realisation is depends on the accumulation of spiritual perfections, but however good one’s perfections are, they cannot ripen without serious efforts” -The Satipaṭṭhāna Sutta
When one use the Mala and chant the mantra , one’s consciousness must drift to a meditative state . That’s the purpose and nothing else
The heart sutra is one of, if not of the utmost importance.

Hi. May I know if there is any rule on whether one should use his/her right or left hand to hold and count mala beads? Or is it still totally up to one's own preference?
In which hand we should hold the mala while chanting?
可以唸『離婆離婆帝。求訶求訶帝。陀羅尼帝。尼訶囉帝。毗黎你帝。摩訶伽帝。真陵乾帝。莎婆訶。』
請常唸誦這七佛滅罪真言
