Very enjoyable and informative presentation. Thank you and keep visiting history. My wife and I enjoy doing that too. Glad to see so many other Americans do too.

I really like this video. Thank you. So many places like this I can’t go because of my disability. So I can see it through your eyes. Thank you again.

I’m enjoying your videos. Thank you. I’m wondering if you recall how much time this day took you. We are hoping to go to the area soon.

I’d definitely allow 3-4 hours in Yorktown

Does anyone know if t here is a shuttle service that can take you to each stop through Virginia's Historic Triangle? We're coming up from Virginia Beach and wanted to avoid renting a car and taking UBER.

They could also call the battle of Yorktown the battle that turned the world upside down

Were these visited during the pandemic?

AussieLivia no, this was before the pandemic. Fortunately, the battlefield is all open air so I’m sure that’s about the same. The museum would definitely need social distancing. Safe travels!

The American Revolution Museum at Yorktown is also open to the public at this time, though there are safety measures in place because of the pandemic.

Visited today (May 17, 2021). The Moore House is closed. The place where you pay for the Yorktown Battlefield is open so you can pay. The museum portion of that building is closed. Of course the tour of the battlefield sites is outside, so it is open. The Revolutionary War Museum is open both outside and inside. There is an app to have a guide tell you what you are looking at. They sell CDs for $5. But who has a CD player in their car anymore? I got a deal to visit Jamestown Settlement and the Revolutionary War Museum for up to 7 days for $28.90. You have to buy that deal online. However, you can actually visit them in two days no problem. But the seven day is good insurance in case you decide on a different day to go.
