    Are any of the building wheelchair accessible?

    • @WanderOpenRoads
      @WanderOpenRoads  2 года назад +1

      The streets, most gardens and outdoor activities are wheelchair accessible and some exhibits have wheelchair ramps. Most of the historic buildings require at least a few steps. I’d contact the park for specific information

    Man that was very informative and emotional.. as a fellow African American i was weary of showing my young son and daughter the Colonial history of early African Americans but you made an excellent point .. This part history,although harsh an unsavory must be told and not ignored.. I cant wait see the Magazine and eat at all the Taverns.. be there in the end of March.. excellent Video

    What a unique place. Thank you for sharing. We were able to adventure through there recently and enjoyed watching your video and seeing the experiences you had. We had a great time and enjoyed what we saw but it is so cool that you went to the same place and had a very different experience. Thank you for sharing!

    As a 757 resident it’s refreshing to see people that find this so fascinating. We take it for granted knowing we are in the home of the first Americans

    I remember going there in 94', but it was similar in expense then? Wonder why? Totally worth it though. I don't know why more people don't know about it? It should be mandatory for every grade school child to attending the US.

    go to Colonial Williamsburg after the snow falls (usually between Jan and even as late as March). Standing on those streets with the snow acting as acoustic insulation gives the whole place a unique kind of quiet. My favorite place to be, even though I generally dislike winter weather.

    It looks empty. When I was a kid in the 70's, it was packed. We did all the historical sites and Civil War battlefields. I remember sort of feeling bad for my friends who weren't interested in history. Travelling around like that gave me a love for America that is absent in others.

      Colonial Williamsburg is a great place to visit if you’re into history. We love going to places like this 🤩 And roadtrips are a good opportunity for this.
