Hi Blaine question,I got some bank rolls with cardboard plug in one end. Do you have any idea if that was put in by a bank or someone open the bank roll and put the plug in and dump the coins back in afterwards I have pictures but I do not know how to send them to you. Please help me. Sincerely, yours, Bert.
There were wrapping machines that added this "plug" to the ends. It was something done almost exclusively in the mid 1950's and early 1960's. Prior to that I have never seen one with a plug that is a genuine bank wrapped roll.
