Reprocessed (Buffed) Steel Cent Identification
Ty so very much for sharing. I started collecting in 1971, I believe. So getting silver quarters, half's, and silver dollars was fairly easy At my dad's store the head cashier watched for silver everything and older dollar like silver certificates Kennedy 5 dollar bills and such. By time I was 16 I had 100 dollars or more in face value in coins and a hundred or more in folding money 💰 Several proff sets etc. So face value of everything was 500 in middle 70s .. Then a Damm their broke into our house and stole it and other things. Homeowners insurance would only pay face value, not the estimated value of a reputable coin dealer of 20K upwards After the deductible. Pretty sad I'd like to buy a roll of silver quarters and dimes and halves to add to my small collection. I started back collecting about 5 years ago as an old man. It's hard to trust many dealers around. But any ideas would be appreciated. I am a retired law enforcement executive and public safety service of 44 years.. the Adam 12 type cop. Not the crazy ones of today. 😊 Still active as a minister of the gospel 47 years. God bless yall 🙏 😊
Is the value hurt by the volume of the same?
Wow what fun for you Blaine, thanks for sharing!
Very informative, Thank You!
Ok im drooling lol I need one of those

Blaine, congratulations on your new grandchild. That is awesome, enjoy !
I just got one similar , cause my other one with a screen went bad, that came with the holder it works great , I use a index card to move the coin around on the base. To see the hole coin. The only disappointment is can't take pics of the hole coin to post on Facebook groups to ask questions, or just to post .
Great Info as always . I should post .you 55 cracked skull . Congrats Grandpa .

Die clash
Right lol poor mans not double die
Ive noticed some people think die deterioration is a broad struck lol
This should be good
Hello. decided to reply to your opinions. i can only hope you can not take this personal. 1:39 "Impress one really important factor" Who cares let them post. Its facebook Not cointalk. Cope harder. here's a thought, link them to this video. Not only you have a chance to monetize from the views, more importantly the person gains knowledge. win win. 3:37 " chances of finding a matte proof raw coin ZERO" Stop lying. It's possible. What's your source for survivability numbers? Google? thats your second mistake. PCGS? hm even in mint state its not impossible to find any of the matte proofs. Nope, i just hate when people give wrong information & they priding themselves on being a coin dealer. Facts doesnt care about you opinion bub. Please do more research before you make such claims. I just saw a MPL found on a coin forum the other day. 4:37 "explanation" You sure that was the problem? haha. Die Markers = 100% Agreed with relic markers. cool 1922-D i love those. great video. good luck searching my guy!!!
Make Anacs Great Again
Im all in this hunt since my visit to the show and actually see the Discovery coins and The Bloom Hoard .
And the hunt continues . Great information Sir 👍
I’ve seen you explain all of this on the US Penny Collectors page numerous times lol
I bought one similar to that one, but the one I got was "bluetooth"... unfortunately, for me, that meant I had to link it up to my phone and not computer, so it didn't do what I wanted to do. I totally agree that the plastic stand is not the best because it breaks semi-easily (which mine did), and you also cannot get a full vertical position over the coin because the stand is so small. I would recommend getting the better stand to anyone interested. Thanks for showing Blaine!
Great advice. Thanks
Sound like a nice portable to have while coin shopping.
Great video buddy.
Glad you enjoyed it
This is Scott an Administrator from pennies galore, sorry I'm on my old lady's youtube. Very well laid out and very informative for someone who is just getting into coins or just getting into Facebook coin groups. I will be sharing this with people in our group.
What up Scott it me Victor rascon.
Thanks for addressing this! I just started collecting steel cents and have noticed the ghost 4 on a couple of them.
Checked my pennies and all I have are wheat pennies all the way back to 1919 1909 so nothing worth anything
If she's over 200.. then she's a large date.
So what it is worth? I have 3 large prints and one definite small print? I used a big magnifying glass, but clearly see the difference..thank you, nice video 🙋♀️✝️🇺🇸
Im going to share in my group in Facebook GPS coin donde las monedas cuentan sus historias
You the best
Good job on this video spread the knowledge
Sm. D. = 1 cent!? Lg. D. = 1 cent !? 🤡
Nice video buddy it me Victor Rascon
hi BLAINE, THANKS FOR THE BACKGROUND VERY INTERESTING. ALSO, I THOUGHT IT WAS VERY GOOD TO SHOW YOUR FIRST ( GEM ROLL ) MISTAKE . BECAUSE IT SHOWS YOU ARE A REAL PERSON WHO HAD TO LEARN JUST LIKE THE REST OF US . WISH I HAD ALL THE BU ROLLS YOU SHOW IN ALL YOUR VIDEO'S. I THINK I MAY HAVE A 1909 STRUCK ON A RUSTY DIE -the Rabbit Hole is a Great book to read for Lincoln cent collectors THANKS 🦘🤠👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👍👍
HI Blaine, Daniel Malone PCC just done a comparable video on his CoinHelpU website showing his frustration in what people are posting to it !! YOUR video is a GREAT EDUCATIONAL LESSON FOR ALL ERROR AND VARITIES SEEKERS SO THEY DON'T WASTE THIER TIME LOOKING AT EVERY COIN IN THE WORLD TRYING TO FIND THE PIE IN THE SKY . 🦘🤠
Great video !
I always check a reference before I post a picture. If I do not understand, I ask the crew at live coin Q@A.
Thanks for a quick and succinct explanation.
Thanks Blaine for all this excellent information on identifying a small date from a large date. Thank you so very much for your effort.
Blaine, it's true. There was only one coin known to have Ronald McDonald's face on it. But it was stolen by the Ham Burglar. No one has seen him since. 😂😅🤫🕵️ Could that be him?
Oh my that’s hilarious……
Wow !!!!!! Sir maybe u🦘🤠😎 should write an e-book with all your great pics and illustrations"
SIR Blaine YOU ARE A VERY GOOD TEACHER MATE!!! THIS IS 1 OF THE BEST LESSONS I HAVE EVERY SEEN ON UTUBE / IN BOOKS OR ON NGC/PCGS AND I HAVE SEEN THEM ALL . found ONE IN BU BANK ROLL IN 1984 SOLD TO LCS FOR ONLY $74 RAISING MONEY FOR KIDS' COLLEGE FUND SO I DON'T REGRET IT . HAVE YOU EVERY HEARD OF VIEWERS GETTING THEIR COMMENTS TURNED OFF FOR WHAT THEY SAY? WITH THAT IN MIND YOUR LAST QUESTION TO ME I WAS NOT KIDDING. WHEN I WENT BACK TO ANSWER YOUR REPELY THINGS WHERE CHANGED MISSED YOU ON LIVE q&a . AC/DC ROCKS🎆🎆🎸🎸🏴☠🏴☠
Lol why the difficulty on this
Don’t ask me, but admins of FB groups have started banning 1982 coin posts because of it. It eats up a lot of time explaining to each person
Funny you are doing this. I just talked.about this same subject about an hour ago. I have 2 full sets of the 7 coins in my latest video
I have two full sets as BU rolls…. So I guess I have 100 sets….. LOL
Nice
