Jared Kraft thank you. We use a Carolina rig but instead of a swivel we use a Carolina keeper and tie on a owner size 8 mosquito hook with 4lb floroclear. It’s been working pretty good for us.
Andrew Uy we were supposed to go today but canceled when we woke up lol. That’s the one reason we are hesitant on going there because we don’t want to fish shoulder to shoulder. Was the fishing any good when you went? We are looking for options for the days following the new year. Where else have you gone lately?

Dang I still haven’t caught a trout in big bear.. was thinking about heading out this weekend but heard the lake was frozen over? Anyone know if the lake is still fishable???
Charlie Shin I just heard from a couple people that went this past weekend and they said most of it is frozen over. Very limited fishing areas. I’ll let you know if I hear anything else.
