Great to see this type of content. I had a knee replacement 2 years ago l find that with the long clubs l am not hitting it as far as l did pre surgary is this .normal ?

Thank you! It is normal as you will not generate as much force in the longer clubs as your legs will take time to get back to strength and so with them being a huge source of power it does affect it. Confidence will also affect how much you use your legs and subconsciously you might lose a bit of trust which reduces intensity of swing

Is there any evidence that either softer or larger grips reduce the damage to the muscles and tendons of the forearm ?

Too large or small means you have to tighten grip pressure to gain control of the club but too small is worse than too large for this

Luckily I've never had elbow pain from golf but I do get a lot of pain on the back on my left hand(im right-handed). Any idea what would be causing this and how to stop it? Other than not playing golf :D I feel like I have a fairly othodox grip and swing but I guess there's something I'm doing wrong.

If you have a steep angle of attack it will load the left wrist more at impact but also if you practice on hard mats that will definitely damage your wrist too

Is it me or does this skip over the detail of prevention?
