My son started playing guitar 7 so when Firehouse came to town he went to meet them to have his guitar case. They were the nicest guys. They came back a year later. It was my son's birthday. They remembered him and sang happy birthday to him. They also all stood up and introduced themselves to me. Very impressed!
I’m 49 and this song was right up my alley back then! You guys got great taste! This is the first video of yours I’ve watched so I’m definitely going to watch some more! Peace out!
This was the 1st song I ever heard by them on the radio, I had no idea who it was. I thought it was Motley Crue, cause they had been getting more pop with every recent album lol
Reach for the Sky, All she wrote, Lovers Lane, all cool songs. Love of a lifetime, When I look into Your Eyes, great ballads, any one would be a great reaction!
Firehouse came at the end of the ahi metal ara.. I like their music though. decades alter I showed my girlfriend this song from them "love of a lifetime" and three years later it was our Wedding song. Never knew listening to that song in 1990 would end up being something special.
the first two or three albums were great...Perry Richardson(bassist) is now with Stryper...he played with country artists Craig Morgan and Trace Adkins before joining Stryper.
This was a good song but it was towards the end of the hair band era when the industry was pumping out anything it could with hair and ballads to make money and Firehouse was swept up in that. They are an okay band. This song was a hit and for obvious reasons. Its a good jam.
Trixter has better songs but they kind of sucked live. Firehouse was tight and sounded as good as the studio recording. Damn Yankees is another band you should check out. And Night Ranger. And Steelheart.
Excellent!! Rip CJ!!
Firehouse are one of favourite bands from that time. This whole album is an absolute killer album. Love them!
Yes it was. Killer album.
This album is an absolute masterpiece ❤

The production on every Firehouse song is fantastic. The producer really understood the impact of perfectly placed bass drum hits.
I just heard CJ passed on the 5th. RIP CJ 😢

This was the 1st song I ever heard by them on the radio, I had no idea who it was. I thought it was Motley Crue, cause they had been getting more pop with every recent album lol
CJ is a great singer, and this is one of my favorite albums!
The setting of this MV is probably koreatown. I played the drums for this song in a band when I was in college in Korea.

I knew the drummer's ex-girlfriend from back in the 90's. She came out to see my band once.
Underrated band. They came a little late to the party, and the 80's stuff was pretty much already dead.
Such a shame, too. There were good bands coming up around that early 90s period. Mr. Big and Ugly Kid Joe for example.
Man, he looks like Troy Bolton too! lol (Zac Efron)
They were huge in south east Asia especially in indonesia..
