Love your videos. Beautiful wonderful sceneries of home. I am originally from West Virginia now living in California. Enjoy your videos again thank you
This is the first time I have ever seen your video.i love the ride on the road. Your showing nature and old buildings. Getting raw fruit. That lunch you ate. Good friend gave me some years ago. Thank you for sharing your video with us.
There's a creek that runs through Sedona I take my kids to play in during the heat of the Phoenix summer. It has cool water fed by a spring, and if you time it right, loaded with blackberries. The wife and kids have a blast picking and eating while I sit in my chair in the cool water.
Glad you’re feeling better, Michael. Joanna did a wonderful job in her cooking video. I’ll bet the aroma of the beans and weenies was fantastic! When Chris and I were newly married, our apartment was on a main road. Next to our building, was an empty lot filled with wild blackberries. We didn’t have a lot back then, but we could pick those berries in the summer and make muffins, jams, cobbler, and pie. We’re camping right now at George Washington State Park in RI. Around the lake are wild blueberries - not quite ripe yet. Wish we were here in a couple of weeks … but I think the birds will have a feast! I remember driving through those beautiful mountains in East Tennessee … what a beautiful part of our country. It’s a great half way point between here and Texas. Our daughter and son-in-law camped at Edgar Evins on their way north and also thought it would be a perfect halfway spot! I’ll bet you could recommend other great Tennessee campgrounds. Stay well and thanks for sharing a fun recipe! Great job Joanna! ~ Maria
Maria, I hope you and Chris are both well. Jo Ann and I were just talking about wild blueberries. She calls them huckleberries. I assume they’re the same. I haven’t had any of those in years, but do remember them being delicious. Thanks for sharing your memory of picking blackberries. Those are the memories we cherish most; the ones we created rather than bought. Be well, and happy camping!
Another great video my friend, Jill and I went blackberry pickin' yesterday. Got quite a few but still a bunch out there that'll take another week or so to ripen up.
your blackberry picking made me think as a kid in seattle there were wild black berries everywhere that i used to eat as a snack while playing outside. Once a family friend made home made ice cream and we picked the blackberries that he made into a topping and it was the best thing ever.
You're convincing us to get a vacuum sealer for our camping meals. We're getting tired of always eating hamburgers and hotdogs and this would be an excellent way to be able to eat our regular home-cooked meals while we're on the road. I have a question for you. We're buying a Square Drop camper this fall and we've been looking for 20 amp Surge Protectors we can plug into the campground pedestals to protect our campers - but we haven't really found any. Do you use a surge protector when you plug in your teardrop camper? Or do you have one you would recommend?
My BS gauge was bending the needle so I shut off all the so called news and watched a guy and his wife cruise down a country road in an atv..( I could just hear the james Taylor song country road ) …stop and enjoy the simple joy of wild fruit in beautiful country and cook up some Beanie Weenie. Loved them since my Scout days. …Thanks for doing this video for us dude…..
Have had a Food Saver device for quite awhile now, and they are great. I'm thinking that you could possibly cook those beans & weinies right in the "suck bag" in a pot of hot water. Would save a bit of camp kitchen cleanup afterwards.
First mini bike story hits home with me! I did similar to raise money. I mt bike and still stop to eat blackberries! Great vid! Quiet neighbors you have there also.
We love you two. Take all the time to feel better and we look forward to you future adventures!
Thanks so very much! We’re editing our next episode now. Hope to have it up this week. Spoiler…we visit an RV museum!
I really enjoyed the video! It was fun just watching you guys drive around out in the beautiful country and hearing the stories!
Glad your back
Thank you!

I’m glad you found us!
I'd walk 10 miles to pick enough blackberries for my granny to make blackberry dumplins and it was worth every step. Good memories, thanks.
Definitely!
My granny always made black berry jam. We had tons in her back yard. And raspberries too.
Great episode my friend. As always.
Thanks man!

That sounds like a lovely place to make some memories with the family.
How did I miss this one? Beautiful trail! Great job on the recipe! We use the tiny cocktail smokies. Good stuff!
Smokies on a cold day are the best!

Thanks bro! There are tons of blackberries this year; most I’ve seen in a while.
Very good and looks like a tasty recipe. I bet it’s great a Dang beverage.
Lol! It would have been good with a bottle of Dang!
you know we now need more recipes or a cooking and camp channel lol
Lol! She’s gonna have to start a cooking channel.
Thanks for taking us along, enjoyed the meal and the ride.
My pleasure!

The best of my home state, TN. Nothing like fence row black berries.

We like it here. It’s a bit inconvenient when we need to go shopping, but the trade-off is worth it.
Just got back from Tennessee a few weeks ago went to anchor down Rv park if you haven’t been I highly recommend it! Happy camping!
I’ve heard good things about that place.

The moment you realize the blackberry you just popped in your mouth tastes like ants

Thank you! We do our own editing.
Suck bag beans and weenies with bugs berries and melons :P
Spot on!
How about an Indian 25 - a mini bike so small you could almost put it in your backpack.
That would be cool!
Could you hear this up in boiling water. One less pot to wash.
I’ll bet so! Great idea!
