Rush Golden Ale featuring Geddy Lee & Alex Lifeson. Order: linktr.ee/rush... Produced by Rush & Allan Weinrib. Music: New World Man from Rush, Signals album. For latest updates visit rush.com
Seriously could we get a tv show of these two going around different breweries/wineries just touring the facilities and taste testing drinks. I need that in my life.
I had a good run of live RUSH shows from 1977 - 2015, around 30 shows. Had no Idea how fast life would pass by. Glad to see them laughing and smiling still after all these years !
@@chuckwhite3033 Can only go to so many concerts to see the bands you like if you have to work and can't schedule the time off to go see them unless you want to spend that whole time going to concerts to see your favorite bands musicians . I love the music they made all of it from the early days when they first came out and were played on the radio but I listen to a lot of other and seen a lot other other blues and rock bands and it's impossible to see them all live now especially after all these years where some have vanished all together or they just don't tour any more and come around so we at least have the old music that they all performed on record or live when when we seen them at their best to at least remember those times .
Saw them only once on the Hemispheres tour in the late 1970s in London but been a lifelong fan. Support was Max Webster. I’d pay serious money to watch these two do anything that they considered worthwhile. Geddy is one of the most engaging interviewees I’ve ever seen. Neil was no slouch either. I’m sure there’s a talk show in these two.
I've never touched alcohol, but I'll sip Rush Golden Ale for the Holy Triumvirate for sure. Will gift a few crates to my friends, too! Love these guys too much!
I don't drink alcohol either, but my wife let slip that I'm getting a couple of bottles of the new Rush mustard, so I can partake in the Rush goodness anyway. Maybe you could do the same?
I quit drinking altogether a little over 2 years ago when my daughter was born, but ever since Alex and Ged released this Rush ale, I've been tempted to break my straight-edge ways to give it a shot. Especially now since it's available here in the states! I also need to try that mustard lol
My brother passed away January 6th 2022 and he was a big rush fan and as he was going to the other side I play Closer to the heart form everytime I hear that song reminds me of my brother I miss him so much
How many people here would watch or listen to a Geddy and Alex podcast? I don’t even care if they start with talking about their beer and mustard. I just like hearing these guys talk.
“They call me the workin’ man. I guess that’s what I am. ‘Cause I get home a five o’clock. And I take myself out an ice cold beer.” So glad I got to see them live even if it was only twice, Power Windows in ‘86 and Clockwork Angels in ‘13. RIP Professor. ❤ Rush for all time.
They became my favorite band in 1975...I saw every tour after that and met Alex and Geddy after a Roll the Bones concert here in Pittsburgh, PA...2 of the nicest guys you would ever want to meet. RUSH RULES.
If you had to pick only 2 shows to see, you did well. I really liked Rush from 2112 on. My first show was in Mobile, AL 1981, Moving Pictures I think. I was on my way home (New Orleans) from Spring Break in FLA . I didn’t have a ticket; just pulled off I10 and bought one. They were great. I finished my drive to NOLA that night. Next day, a good friend asked if I was. Going to RUSH that night. So i went again. It’s still the only back to back shows I saw. My next show was in Rochester, NY while in collage there. Show #4 was a private affair in Toronto, a pre-tour rehearsal gig for Signals, no fancy lights, just the music, close up. (My roommates dad was a big wig At Atlantic records). The next show I saw, the one that “buried the barb” was 1986, Power Windows in Baltimore, and again in Nola. I never missed a tour since. My last show was on May 22, 2015, my b-day present from my daughters (who of course are rush fans). That was show #107 for me. Still can’t get enough
Dear Geddy and Alex!!! Thank You for all the beautiful memories!! Have followed Rush since the early 70's starting at the Tomorrow Club in Youngstown Ohio!!!!!
I swear, I absolutely love these guys. The fact that their friendship is still as strong as ever speaks volumes to their character. I really wish they had a show of some kind or could get a role in a comedy movie. That would be icing.
There's a lot of band members who do not get along and argue. Rush seems to have been great friends and got along just fine. Hats off to these guys, including Neil, for being great friends through all of their lifelong journey.
Gentlemen- please do a podcast. Have Bob and Doug Mackenzie on as your first guests to have a "Beer Roundtable" It would be a massive success. Cheers!🍻
Dude the mouse in the beer bottle for free beer comes to mind but that was Molson but would do the same for some Moosehead being in the south with peanuts and seltzer beer neck beards lol.
If I was stranded on a desert island...I'd just need a small solar panel and an MP3 player. RUSH's MUSIC would inspire me to do ANYTHING that I needed to do. I'd build a fukkin' bamboo mansion and terascape acres of land while listening to 'working man'! 😆
Way back when, the three Rush gods filmed themselves out at a restaurant (private room) & they had a blast and it was fun to watch the wine selections + all the fun they had! Should've seen this coming.
PLEASE come out with a STRAIN OF HASH for us non-drinkers who got tired of beer's associated weightgain & peeing & overall hateful feeling the mornings after! I happily left ethyl & hops for indicas & sativas when the 'rona shut down life for a while, and I have NOT regretted it at all! Give us a delicious doggiefood-looking chunk of RUSH MIND EXPANDER like those that led to soooo many great songs for the Soundtrack Of My Life. Please! Please! Please!

All three of these guys were great friends and all had/have a wicked sense of humor. They all still had their funny bone. That I think is the secret to longevity, a sense of humor. That's what kept these guys together- besides actually liking each other. They could be goofy together. I agree a show with these two would be comedy gold, I could watch them comment on watching paint dry and be amused 😄 Cheers guys, and one for you professor! 😀
I really enjoy a pilsner beer, Labatt blue, Miller, Heineken etc An Ale or pale ale is far to bitter in my opinion. But I'll definitely give Rush a try. Cheers 🍺
This is just so bittersweet....not talking about the beer, haven’t tried it yet. I feel like Neil is there, just strolling along with them with angel wings.
I'm in my forties. Seeing Rush live was on my bucket list for over twenty years. Somehow, whenever I could realistically make it to a show, something would happen - work, life events, etc. - that prevented me from going. I truly hope these guys tour together again someday. It will be a little bit like seeing a Page and Plant show instead of Led Zeppelin, but I can totally live with that. Give me and people like me one more shot, guys! If I'm forced to miss the show again, then it just wasn't meant to be!
Trust me, without Neil it would not work. And l think they know that. He is not replaceable. Rush without Neil would be a letdown, and a dishonor to him.
Seriously could we get a tv show of these two going around different breweries/wineries just touring the facilities and taste testing drinks. I need that in my life.
That would be awesome. Geddy as the straight guy, Lerxst as the wise ass.
Me too. I've seen enough of them both live on stage and in past footage to know they are literally always like this.
You had it about 35 years ago. It was called Bob and Doug.
Really well you need t I get a life before you start planning what you need in it once you get one. 💯
I just wish Neil was still around to complete the group.
Alex's "Beer Genius" badge being upsidedown made me laugh harder than it should have
Well, he is grossly intelligent.
That's Alex lol
My thoughts exactly
Don't be so hard on yourself, hard guy. I think you should have laughed harder. I know I did.
He even wrote GENUIS, haha
We need a TV show of Geddy and Alex somehow stumbling into all sorts of crazy situations. That would be comedy gold right there.
Exactly! Like a travel show where they go visit different cultures Alex would get an Emmy 😂😂😂😂
I think that you just described most every Rush concert ever held!
We don’t have Emmys in Canada
I don't watch TV but I would binge watch that for years!!
I think they’re working on it
He’s a rebel and a runner!!!
He's a signal turning green
He’s a restless young romantic ..Wants to run the big machine
Hes got a problem with his poisons

We need a Dirk & Lerxst podcast. The friendship between these two is absolutely wonderful. I love them holding hands at the end of the video. 😂
Oh my god this needs to happen
🤗
I'd listen every day!
yeahhh
Geddy: This is inequitable, Alex: No, it's beer! 😄...oh the sense of humor of these two are "unjustly" (inequitable wink wink) underrated.
👍💯😄. 🤫a subtle dig on society methinks. Rush always showed a better way.
The funniest line EVER! 🤣

Even in retirement, Geddy and Alex are still entertaining us!
The chemistry between these two is completely unreal. I feel this was done in one take. Also, this is just a typical conversation for them.
to sit at a table with these two and have a beer would be a riot

Damn, I love you guys, and I'm looking forward to RUSHing right out to get some of that beer, eh?
I think you've just hit the World high-water Mark for the Rushyest pun
Could these two great guys ever have imagined back in grade school that they would be these two great guys that you see in this video?
Alex's humor needs to be witnessed worldwide
In all honesty, nothing brightens my day more than when I see a notification of more material from these two!
Wow even your ol lady telling you to hurry home she's naked and dripping wet, and she hasn't been in the shower yet?.?????
