  • A mother from Milford, New Hampshire claims that her local school has pushed biological males in her daughter’s locker room. Legislators in the state are now considering HB 396, which would restore the legal recognition of biological sex in athletics, prisons, and “places of intimate privacy.”

How would you handle this situation if it were your child?

    • @OutspokenSamantha

I would be notifying every parent in the district of what the school is allowing - just for informational purposes, in case there are some who weren't aware that boys have been granted access to the girls bathrooms.
I would demand a meeting with the Principal, and any other teacher or administrator involved in the decision making process - and rallying parents to join the discussion.
I would be contacting my local and state representatives to talk about tightening down the laws that separate children and adults by sex in private spaces.
I would be enrolling my daughter in self defense classes and pulling her from the school until it was resolved.

First of all, I wouldn’t have used the “sex assigned at birth” phraseology. I understand the lady not wanting to sound too harsh, but you give into the delusion that is causing this when you do that. She was ceding territory to the ideologues.

I've noticed that when parents come to these meetings, trying to have a civil, rational discussion about these issues - they often feel the need to state a disclaimer about how they don't have anything against trans, gay or queer kids, and that they are kind to everyone, before they get into the concerns for the safety of their own kids.
I understand why they do it, but I'm tired of having to make a statement about being a good person before getting into the harm that's being caused.
We don't say "I accept all people - just so we're clear - but beating children is bad." Nobody should feel like they have to clarify that they're tolerant before they stand up for what's right. The fact that you're speaking in behalf of your child or advocating for the protection of kids in general already indicates that.

Amazing how fast and effective fear of the mob can silence entire towns and even states. If our daughter were still going to school in this time, we'd've pulled her out and home schooled her starting at least ten years ago. As far as we're concerned, we should've gone back to single wage earner, stay at home wife home schooling the kids back in the 70s. Dear God in Heaven, please help us.

The war on women is STRONG in this country. Men and reasonable women need to step up equally as strong for this to end sooner than later. The trans folk will not reproduce and the trend will die, I'm sure, but we can speed up this process if we speak up for what's right.

It's not like people are seeing others in a state of undress in a bathroom or dressing room without being a creep. That's already a crime, regardless of gender.
Also, kids should know to close the stall door; that's creepy to not close the door, unless you want perverts looking at you, or are being perverted yourself. Once again, that's already a crime.
On the other hand, people are often in a state of undress out in the open inside a locker room. Changing locker room norms, where people would only change inside private changing stalls, would make the locker room situation more like a bathroom (that is, no one is seeing someone else in a state of undress without being a creep).

@@joer9156 not every person assigned male at birth who wears women's clothes is a pervert. There are a few pervs who do it, but by far, most people (including myself) have no ill intent; we shouldn't be collectively punished as a group for the actions of a few. You could also say the same thing about trying to make white people feel guilty, as a group, for the racist actions of white people who came before them.
As someone who is pro-free speech and pro-free expression, dressing in a masculine/feminine/nonbinary/etc. manner, regardless of someone's sex assigned at birth, is a freedom of expression matter as far as I'm concerned. You don't have to accept it, and that is your right.
Perverts, regardless of how they dress, are perverts, and if they commit a crime they (should) do the time.

This happened to me at a music festival last year, I opened an unlocked porta-potty and a cross dressed dude pretended to be shocked. Strangely, 10 minutes later he was right behind me in a food line up, talking about how embarrassing that was, smiling like a creep. Nasty shit.

How can you argue against woke culture AND still play by woke rules that force the usage of “biological male”? It’s usage suggests THERE IS an alternative to Male other than Female. Man and woman have never bf REQUIRED prefixes or identifiers like: “emotional” “psychological” or “biological” it’s simply been Male or Female.
The news doesn’t report : boy bitten by “biological” dog or suffer attacked by “biological” shark. That would suggest there is a category of dog/shark that is NOT biological?! By using “biological Male” you suggest there is an alternative to BIOLOGICAL reality that should be taken into consideration in public/legal discourse. Setting up the debate b/w psychology vs reality.
I don’t get to be a trans-chimpanzee and evade taxes, alimony, or the draft though I might be seen as mentally diseased and unfit for service? You don’t get to be trans-POTUS and veto bills no matter how much you identify or FEEL this way in YOUR mind.
Simply put post-modernism and communism are a war of words at first and if we are using “biological male” we are already on poor footing.

This first time I heard about this sort of thing was in a high school in the Midwest during the Obama administration. After a long debate, the school board allowed the transwoman, a biologically intact male student, to shower with the girls but behind a shower curtain, and to change in the girl's locker room behind a shower curtain.
The Obama administration decided this was not good enough. So they attacked and charged everyone imaginable with criminal penalties. If I remember correctly, the school board members were facing long prison terms. I do not know how this was resolved.
I thought it was nonsense at the time. And I still think it is nonsense. But of course, since Barack was for it, no one wanted to oppose him and be called a racist. So...these attitudes slid into place and were cemented as the "new reality". Unchallengeable and indisputable.
The truth probably is, from my knowledge of BHO's personal sexual history, is that BHO is a very mentally disturbed person. And he LOVES the idea of transwomen.
I am not suggesting anything about Big Mike, although many would. If Big Mike is indeed a transman, she/he/it has very female hips and what appears to be a female butt. But clearly, she/he/it has prominent male-like biceps and triceps, as everyone knows. Even Joan Rivers, the stage name of Joan Alexandra Molinsky (June 8, 1933 - September 4, 2014), made this declaration when Obama got into office. But no one dared to discuss it, for fear of being called a racist or something.
