  • Successful political activism relies on three lines of effort: the narrative line, the policy line, and the action line. In this video, I explain the strategy behind my current campaign to abolish DEI bureaucracies in public universities. Subscribe to my newsletter: christopherrufo.com/support.

      And as he stated, the most important part of this (IMHO) is giving Republican politicians the courage (and boy do they need it) to campaign on, and more importantly act on, this initiative. My hope is that the days of conservatives cowering in the corner, not touching this issue in the vain illusion that they will be well-liked by the other side, are at least starting to end.

    The worst part, the most embarrassing and shameful part is that corporate America is so completely captured. BEFORE we are done fixing universities, DEI in corporate America must also be addressed and dismantled.

      Absolutely.

    • @davekendall1338
      @davekendall1338 Год назад +9

      It's going to be a long campaign. It took generations to get to the point we're at (the long march through the institutions). It's going to take at least a generation to get out of this mess. Corporate America is full of DEI because the products of the woke academic institutions feed into corporate America. If you don't fix the source of the problem, you'll never stand a chance at fixing the downstream effects. While it might be faster to go after corporations simultaneously, the corporate issue will largely be resolved on its own if you fix the universities.

    • @dianekamer8341
      @dianekamer8341 Год назад

      @@davekendall1338 Oh man, is that ever true. Retired from a humongous "basic apparel" company six years ago. It's far from the wokest of the woke -- not even close -- but millennial bimbettes in microskirts have pretty much taken over Marketing, and they're completely on board with wokeism, to the point of harboring snotty, supercilious contempt for many of their own customers.

    • @tomservo75
      @tomservo75 Год назад

      I have to disagree. This started in the universities, that's the pipeline where it starts in corporations. If you just fix corporations first, you're not getting to the heart of the problem and for every corporate DEI knucklehead you remove, they'll be 2 more to replace. Clean up the universities and you cut the head off the snake. Then go to the corporations to finish it off. One thing I think Chris did leave out here is the electoral arm of this. The voting public must be convinced that saving the country from DEI is more important than any abortion bill. Vote D just to save abortion and you're making a deal with the devil. I'm not taking a position on abortion here, but my point is that the public needs to be educated on what the real issues are.

    DEI is two decades in the making at Universities schools of Ed including Columbia Teachers College and Harvard School of Ed and every other Ed school in America. You have to stop Pearson and the SEL consultants. It is a major edu industry and it is covert and pervasive.

Fortunately, I guess, their web developers are so incompetent that the application process keeps getting messed up. E.g., he applies to a social studies job but gets taken to the application page for exam proctors. 🤦‍♀I guess that's a blessing in disguise if Pearson is a Bastion of Woke!

    Please correct me if I’m wrong but are you basically taking the blueprint from the Left; ideology, narrative building and political activism and applying conservative ideology to the method. Kind of like your well known tweet explaining the plan to bring CRT into the forefront of social consciousness? Personally I hate the idea that Conservatives would have to move by the same methods as the Left/Progressives… But you are on the front lines and you see how strong the deception is and and how Conservatives are loosing the culture war and the soul of our nation. And Conservatives must be active politically and socially in order to regain influence in society amidst this unprecedented moral decline. You are brilliant. Stay spiritually grounded and intellectually honest. Your leadership and body of work is certain to reach far beyond your life time.

    I like how Chris' focus over the last few months has grown away from "CRT", to more towards "DEI". DEI is the big-picture, CRT is only a part of the problem. Chris is becoming the anti-DEI leader in America, along with DeSantis.

  • @tomservo75
    @tomservo75 Год назад

    Gotta hand it to the left, it was a brilliant long term plan while it lasted. But if anything, they did us a favor - they pushed too far, too hard. This DEI stuff was probably going on for 50 years yet when I was in school in the 80s and 90s, I think CRT was there in a form but it was far more subtle, it was the undercurrent of the curriculum but was not universal and not explicitly expressed. As we saw with the Virginia school boards, they crossed a line and now everyone knows about it. In the other side's extremism, they have conceded that they are going to hate you and smear you no matter what you do, so you may as well crush them with no fear, no mercy, and no quarter given. We have to take the belief that if Conservatives go hard-line on issues like DEI, CRT, transgenderism, that they WILL be rewarded. DeSantis and Glen Youngkin, winning the governor's race in a blue state, is proof of that. Learn from the abortion issue. On the surface it looks like it hurt Republicans in 2022 but when you look at governors who took hard-line stances on abortion they were overwhelmingly re-elected.
