I can say that my experience with the Juiced Patch is great. I'm getting a consistent 60 FPS with a GTX 1660 Super. There were some frame dips, especially when entering the Downtown District, but I assume that was DXVK building up caches plus they don't last long at all. -GOG -GOTR -DXVK -Optimized Stilwater (just as a test)
@@BlurXIII Yes, all frame dips seem to be in the same place and usually happen everytime unfortunately, but overall like cruising through stilwater, you’ll barely drop under 60.
also i had to record in 1280 x 720 because of fullscreen recording issues, but from my offline and this run testing, the performance between 1920 x 1080 and 1280 x 720 is so minor it’s not worth mentioning.

It's been a while since I last played SR2 but as far as I can remember DXVK didn't help much in my case so this might be the way to go from now on. Can't wait to give it a try.
@@MarkoVuckovic32 I turned it off just for this and really it was the exact same result, so i would say that it doesn’t do much if not anything at all. You can thank cd projekt for this horrendous port. They'd compressed all of the audio to save space and it sounds awful on monitor, let alone headphones. There only exists a high quality radio mod, unfortunately. Hopefully the community's passion makes saints row 2 on pc the definitive way to play it.

I have a gpu similar to yours (4070) and i wanna play vanilla SR2 for the first time. GOG + just the patch + 60 fps cap. Can you free roam the city and interiors without lag?

First, get the game, if the game crashes after startung a new game then get the patched .exe, i found it on speedrun, com for saints row 2, then download this patch and you can get dxvk if you’d like, i personally don’t see a difference but some say it helps.
