This board is definitely a pleasant surprise at the value-oriented price point. What do you think? Grab or pass? Let me know in the comments and tell me why!
I just received mine yesterday. I like it alot! The lighting is really great. I did have a bit of a time getting the 2.4ghz was tough to connect. The manual says to hold Fn and G for 3 seconds to start the syncing process. After 8 attempts, I thought it was broken, but I tried unplugging and re-plugging the dongle while in sync mode, and it worked! The cable is a little bit finicky too. If you plug it in too alowly, Windows fails to recognize the device. 🙄 I will try out the bluetooth over the next few days. It is indeed a great value at $45.
Any kind've prebuilt board is always a pass for me, but that's assuming I'm having a budget of 300+. But if I'm constrained with a small budget, this definitely looks and sounds good enough for its price, and would easily beat my little brothers hyperx origins. Great vid man! I think you do a good job of making videos with the structure and commentary that you give. Kudos to you
This video was made around the time of the 11.11 sale. Best to keep an eye out for when it's on sale again. Links are in the description for where to watch for a sale.
I recently got the T83 with brown switches. I really like those, and I never use a keyboard for anything other than typing, as I game with a controller. Is there a better switch for general use and typing? I'm not attracted to loud and clickey noises from switches
It really all comes down to your preference. May typists prefer a tactile switch for typing but everyone has their own person preference. The most logical thing you can do is get a nice switch tester and get a feel for what you personally enjoy. My personal preference is a medium or heavier tactile with a tall keycap profile for typing but most of the time on linears because there are far more of them and Im always trying new things. Winging it can be expensive, though, and that is why I recommend a tester to help narrow down your personal preference.
This looks quiet nice! I missed having a Bluetooth board where I didn't need to do a lot of mods for it to sound nice. Would you be able to comment about the battery life in the future?
the weird shape plus excessive amount of screws makes this a hard pass for me. the wireless par of this keyboard and the fact that u can get gateron pro yellows is the only good points of this keyboard, IMO. but yea i only buy cheap budget boards, my most expensive board was the kbdfan kbd67 lite r3 and thats considered budget in thhis community lol keep reviewing budget boards, we need these reviews for more ppl to join this hobby! i missed the t83 sale so ima wait for a black fri sale or if you post a new budget board that interests me more. wireless + F row is a big must for me now so im shopping arounf the tkl/75% range
I do agree that this has far too many screws but I also understand that its kind of necessary for the mid-plate diffusion layer. Sorry to hear you missed the T83 sale but crossing my fingers you'll see it on sale again. I probably wont be showcasing any more ultra budget boards for a while since I am kinda budgeted out but if something pops up that is a killer deal I got you guys! Thanks for your input.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and the kind words.
Now it is 44.99USD in the Black Friday!
Pretty neat little board. It looks like it would be perfect to throw into a laptop bag and use on the go.
My thoughts exactly!
What type of USB connector is that? I’ve never seen it before and I was so confused when I opened the box to see the cable.
@@IKONIKBOY_DaBoi what? It's just a normal USB-C
I’m use to seeing the regular USB a port but seeing it in a flat form really confused me because I’ve never seen it like that before.
Sorry that’s my fault for not being specific, I was talking about the USB A port 😅
Where do you find this for 45$? It's 80 euros on black friday sale here.. idk whether its a good idea at that price point

I never really use boards wirelessly but I will look into some testing methodology that might shed some light on that. Thanks for your insights!
