Firstly, thank you Kathryn 💕 When it comes to ballet barre classes, literally no one else is doing it like you! In fact, no one else (on RUclips) really makes videos like this, at all. I love the music from Le Bayadere and Giselle, and would cry if you published classes with those themes 😭 🙏🏾

I love your "inspired" barres. This way even people like me, who started ballet way too late in life as to come very far, got the feeling we somehow dance in a great performance and move our bodies gracefully. Thank you so much for your time and effort to bring such joy to our home training! 😊 🌸 🌻

This is by far, my fav class from you. i have done this 10 times now (obviously it's so hard and i'm not good at it at all but) thoroughly enjoy whenever i play it on! I absolutely LOVE these themed barres! They are totally helping me get through the summer :) What about a Sleeping Beauty Fairies themed barre? My dance school just did Sleeping Beauty so it's on my mind lol
"happy swan" got me laughing each time we had to do the arms but "not too dramatic because happy swan !". It was a very nice class ! I would love the fairy barre theme ! And a Giselle maybe ? But a lot of jumps... so is it translatable for barre ? And people at home ? If yes I would LOVE it. I also thought about Jewels, Rubies could be very fun I think, hard, but fun. Emeralds and all those arabesques, and diamonds and that impossibly fast scherzo (my movement of the symphony though... and fav parts of ddiamonds too). I wondered about La bayadere but with all the orientalism and offensive stuff of it I'm not so sure. a part of said orientalism being the choreography. I theoretically would like it but ethically I don't know if I'll really enjoy it, personally. the music and choreo, particularly that Gamzatti act three by N.Makarova is my personal number one, are among my favorites but it is one of the less ethically fine ballet... ^^' Although A Legend of love by Grigorovich have kind of similar arms it's a Russian more on the modern side ballet that wasn't performed outside so I don't know... As a westerner can it be done ? There's resources about it but is there enough for a class ? And would YOU be interested into doing something with it ? I'm just dropping the name on that one. To get back to the topic : I loved the class ! Challenging and funny ! Tchaikovsky music is tricky but so beautiful and it trains us to deal with that type of music ! However I think I am a sad dramatic bird. That's just in me. I could not keep myself from the big arms and head movements x) I tried, truly did but it seems I am not a happy bird. (talking about birds there's also the firebird ! to really get into the bird theme). Guess I'll just have to flap bigger next time to get in touch with my inner bird. Finally, maybe, I don't know if they are harder to make, but some center themed class ? I don't know if that's possible, if it's too much work to do for free on RUclips, but maybe just very short classes, or a few combinations ideas.
Love your videos. If you use such a light colored flat against such a light background the eye gets a bit lost so its not so easy to follow along but your barre videos rock.
This is such a fun class! I have a question... I’d love to get the summer 2021 Haul box, but I’m not sure what size I would need in the leotard. Is there a sizing chart somewhere I could view so I know which I need?
I've been following you for years, I love all of your videos! But, recently I've found myself unable to enjoy dance. I'm 17 and for the past years I've been getting up 5 a.m and training in class until sometimes 9 at night, with sometime No day off! I learn new dances every week, in different styles, I've trained from a million different teachers. I've developed an eating disorder, and I feel as if I've lost my passion for dance. But yet, during seasonal breaks I miss it. I'm just so tired, I dread class now and I never spend anytime outside dance because I'm always sleeping or rehearsing. What should I do? I think I'm burned out.
