I had so little motivation to do ballet over the last month, we've had 6 month of lockdown in a row and no ending in sight. I was only doing the classes my teacher uploaded, but lost motivation and I guess I have to mix some of your classes in my routine again. You're so motivating and inspirational, loved to do this barre. Thank you.
I used to do your very first barres at the time, when you were probably the first one to put full lessons on youtube. They helped me so much besides my regular classes. Now, after some time i come back and find this video. Wow, I like every second of it!
Dear Kathryn- this is perfection exemplified- aesthetically gorgeous, and presented in such a warm and loving manner. I felt as if you were talking to me personally! My participation today represents my first ballet class in 35 years and I loved it! Although I am rusty, my body remembered a lot of the movements, which made for a very moving experience. I am very glad of your attention to adult ballet, because, like many who weren't good enough to try for professional level, I was not encouraged to continue my big love when I hit my teens. Well, thanks to you, I am now "back on the horse"! More than that, I had a huge mirror with ballet barre installed on the wall in my living room. Why not?

I speak for myself, but I am sure I am not the only one, you just allowed me to restart ballet (I was told when I was a teenager that I was thin but not flexible enough) at 36, and I am so happy. Love the Spanish fair, reminds me of the Carmen ballet. Please do more inspired barres. Oh, would you ever do a floor barre? I know you mentioned it years ago, its perfect for my recovering foot injury. Thanks again for this, always love your videos and Zoom classes!

I've been taking lessons for about a year, and this was such a good challenge to see how much I knew. I used it as a replacement for a canceled class, and it was a great practice for my technique.
Absolutely loved this class!!! Repeating the exercise with out holding the barre was so genius!, I feel like I really worked my muscles and my balance. Thank you so much for always being so lovely and making incredible classes for us❤️
Would you perhaps do one for Sleeping Beauty when you get a chance? It would be a perfect opportunity to work on the classical style and iconic steps, ie. attitude balances

just 3 days after starting ballet again after a long unexpected break, I'm already feeling myself and my muscles getting back into shape. Day 1 was a beast, I was falling all over the place and having considerably more trouble balancing, now day 3, doing so much better and it's feeling much more natural. maybe next week I'll try the intermediate/advanced. I imagine in 7 day, things will be feeling much better.

I’m wondering if any dancers can help me? I’m a beginner doing these at home for the joy of ballet. I’m wondering if anyone else gets a cramping pain in the arches of the feet, it’s not bad I can work through it but I feel like they need massaging after a while. Is this because my feet aren’t used to this type of exercise, or something I can do to improve? Thank you for these classes Kathryn I really appreciate them! 💕
Sometimes I'm having a bad class like today (Bent and floppy legs are not cute and make balancing hard) and then I remember that I used to have to watch the intro to every exercise like four times and could barely keep up with the music, let alone notice bent legs and bad turnout...progress.
