    Do you use falsetto?

Rarely, or never, depending on your definition. Honestly I’m not sure if there is consensus over what exactly falsetto is. As a voice coach I would say I’m using a mix. For me, it’s how light or strong the mix is that matters. Again, for me, all good tone, even when very light, has some connect to the chest voice

How do you sing this high without straining or getting shouty? Are you using a full, pulled-up chest or is this mixed voice?

It is a mix, and in the direction of a belt. This being the case, the voice would be described in any case as being 'connected', meaning that there are no apparent breaks. The break is still there, it's just hidden in plain sight. Some folks can do this naturally, others fall into the camp of needing training. It is definitely something you can work on with a voice coach if you are not satisfied with how you do it.
