i don't know what it is... i must have heard this song hundreds of times.. from the napster burning cds days to now... i gotta say i think this is the best version. The Australian idol verison was good too though.
Zoe really is a dark horse this season. I keep hearing the song choices being like "idk about that" and then she shows how she has the ability to take that song and put her own charm into it.
so emotive, natural, she tells the story easily, naturally, sounding so pure. Love her placement. Her voice just soars in places. This was very sweet, easy to enjoy. - So You Wanna Be A Singer

Tbh I didn't think she was a strong competitor until this performance. She was holding back so much all this time. She's definitely my top 5 this season.
Bro she was so cold last week too. When I heard her last week, I just couldn’t get past how pitch perfect her voice is. When she hits a note, she stay in a place of perfection so long it starts letting in the light. If she sings Breakaway, she could win. Have a moment like this girl Amber from the earlier seasons with the wind in her hair. A great winning season is about moments. This was a great one.

Gina Miles won and she's just singin in her home town and posting outfits on IG.
This girl.. She is a force to be reckoned with. She is a prime example of what a good coach can do. Her performance of this song was so raw and vulnerable. It was so emotional. It felt like she was telling a story. I’m so excited to see where she will go. She is absolutely my pick to win this season. Either way, I would love to hear more from her.
Her growth is undeniable.

This was such a powerful performance
This is one of my favorite songs and out of all the young ladies that ive seen perform , she has the best breath control , confidence , register flips , a developed lower register. She knew exactly where to up the tempo and lower it so she wouldnt strain for high notes. Others DID NOT do this. This is why her last note was impactful.

Iris is one of my personal favourite songs of all time, especially on singing shows. Kala doing and it last year and Zoey tonight, both unreal performances.

I think this is my favorite performance ever.
I was like "yeah, I remember her previous performances; she's good, lovable, and a solid singer. I'd watch that one as well". What I did not expect is perfect vocals and for sure was not ready for that strong and full lower register. Well, she let me know. Now I know, Zoe! Great job!

I honestly didn't get why John turned. I didn't understand why he chose her over OK3. I was stunned when he picked her over Jackie. BUT, half way through this performance I finally heard what he must have heard way back during the blinds. That was a beautiful performance which gave me chills. Of all the artists this year I can hear the most improvements in her voice. If she carries on improving like this she might just be in with a chance of winning the whole thing.

Very beautiful performance. A great song, tailored and sung very well. I think often light lyric sopranos singing this have trouble delivering the impact in comparison to the intensity and grit of the familiar Goo Goo dolls version, but she found her own way to emote with those quiet notes and then the beautifully sustained ones.

This takes me back 12 years ago when Beatrice miller sang this on x-factor. That entire season was insane. The one where 5th harmony was created, little Carly rose Soneclare was on that season and Emblem 3 and that deep voiced country guy that goes viral every once in a while. Diamond white and the girl who sang the If I was in Paris, and the girl with the cheetah print on her face. There was also that one militant looking dude Veeno or something and Jeff Gutt too. I may be mixing both the seasons Demi lavato was on but those auditions are like core memories in my head lol.
Cece frey was the chick w cheetah print on her face. That was a great season. I was rooting for Carly to win.
