My idea for "A Whole New Sound 2": 1. State Champs - I Just Can't Wait To Be King ( The Lion King) 2. Weezer - I'll Make A Man Out Of You (Mulan) 3. Machine Gun Kelly - You're Welcome (Moana) 4. All Time Low - Kiss The Girl (The Little Mermaid) 5. Blink 182 - This Wish (Wish) 6. Busted - I Wanna Be Like You (The Jungle Book) 7. Green Day - On My Way (Brother Bear) 8. Plain White T's - When You Wish Upon A Star (Pinocchio) 9. My Chemical Romance - Why Should I Worry (Oliver & Company) 10. HaleStorm - A Place Called Slaughter Race (Ralph Breaks The Internet) 11. Magnolia Park - Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride (Lilo & Stitch) 12. Bowling For Soup - Be Our Guest (Beauty and the Beast)
Same here. I think I2I is the 2nd best but Colors of the wind is easily my favorite because of how much energy they put and Tokio Hotel is my favorite band

@@davis8592 Well, great mind think alike. 😏 I listened to all of them and some of them are also really good, but for me Tokio Hotel cover just stands out by how BEAUTIFUL and WHIMSY it is. You can clearly hear the distinctive TH sound, but at the same time it is still very much a Disney song. Some other covers lost the Disney aspect of the song, sounds like any other old song they have in their catalogue.
It’s between you’ll be in my heart, go the distance, friend like me, and can you feel the love tonight for my favorite song on the album. Honorable mentions to Remember me and colors of the wind.
You are so right about the audience for this album. I bought it last week and have been playing it in the car while driving the kids to school. They love it and just request “Disney rock and roll” which is a fun way to get them into a new genre while still hitting their interests. I hope they make another one…
Who is considered an elder emo? I used to think it was somebody who grew up with My Chemical Romance, but now I think it's somebody who grew up with Modern Baseball. And the person that grew up with MCR is an ancient emo lol. And I guess the person that grew up with Sunny Day Real Estate is a prehistoric emo💀
Mark Hoppus revealed that Disney asked blink-182 to do a Pirates Of The Caribbean song for the album, but things fell apart and they never got around to do it
I really liked this album, but I also loved Panic at the Discos and Weezers covers on the Frozen 2 soundtrack. I wonder if the success of those inspired this album.
Sidebar, While New Found Glory did a decent job of Part of Your World however, Back in 2005 Skye Sweetnam did a far better punk rock cover on a official disney album Disneymania 3 I thought every song on the album was actually great, Chrissy on A Whole New World really shined

All time low should be included

That's so wholesome lol thanks for watching!
Hear me out: metal bands covering Disney villains theme songs........ you can thank me later
I always feel like I'm the last person to find out about these things
Disney goes midwest emo would be crazy lmao
_screaming_ HAKUNA MATATAAAAAAA _twinklies_
Disney is just swooping in for the easy payday trying to cash in on the "pop punk revival"!!!
while we didn't get offical mickey, donald and goofy singing on the album. Bowling for soup did some cheesy impressions of goofy in there cover

MCR came after the real emo gods. I’m more Jimmy Eat World and Taking Back Sunday… I’m 36 😭

Ohh nice. Didn't see that.

I request a Pop Punk version of I'm Still Here from Treasure Planet personally
Avril Lavigne shouldve been on the album

@2:25 you mean 121 XD
I didnt like Lolo let it go.. it was not pop punk enough!! It was just her singing the song.
Honestly I would have been more onboard with it if they had brought in the Jonas Brothers (and possibly Demi Lovato)-you know, for old times’ sake.
Its not good
