Jewelers don't make the jewelry themselves, all of the work is outsourced in the jewelry district or they have bench jewelers ( the people that do the hand labor) in their shops. I recommend you find the jewelry district in your city and you will easily be able to make what you want. If you want to make it by hand I assume this is a hobby and you would have to buy silver from sites like kitco.com and a bunch of machines such as casting machines, etc. something I definitely don't recommend for a 15 year old. However you can start a jewelry business at 15 easily with the first way I recommended, check ou the course, it will save you a lot of headaches and is only $25

Hey you don't want to import casting from another country . If you can't find a caster locally, then just buy your own casting machine it's cheap and easy

Hey I know for sure there are casters in Chicago because I have subscribers in Chicago who started making jewelry. I don't know the exact places but you can ask one of my subscribers and his channel name is CasperTV
The course on Udemy WILL cover all bases of exactly how the jewelry is made. I however don't encourage you to do this and let bench jewelers do what they do. The only reason why you would want to do this is if you just want to make jewelry for fun, and if thats the case you will need to be buying a lot of equipment and will need real mentoring ( which you will have to pay out of pocket at the district for mentoring). Becoming a bench jeweler is something I don't recommend, you will still be a part of making each piece, each process, and will be looking for any flaws after each part of the pieces is made, etc so you will still be involved.

It tells you how jewelry is made so you understand the process but the entire course is how to outsource all of the work in your local jewelry business. You do not make any of the jewelry yourself, you simply go through all of the steps to have jewelry makers / bench jewelers make the piece for you.

You don't need a loan. I suggest you save up some cash to make your first few pieces to get a hang of everything until you're more comfortable. Do not make heavy pieces when you start. Make things that cost you around $100 to make and sell them for around $200 and just keep doubling up. Once you're more comfortable just open up a credit card thats 12 months interest free and you can start building your inventory. A lot of people spend too much time focusing on doing things that they consider are by the book such as coming up with a business plan, etc. This is a complete waste of time. Access to capital should not be a problem. If you're young and starting out with credit get a capital one secured card and build your credit up. Within 6 months you should be good to go.
