Yo, I just showed this to my girlfriend who really isn’t super duper in to music and doesn’t really listen to heavy metal/Metallica at all unlike myself who been listening to them since I was a tike. I never had realized this either, even tho RTL was my first cassette tape and I’ve heard every song a thousand times. 😂 my mind is blown. He got super into yeah after that record tho. He should be featured in a “yeah yeah yeahs” song.

I find the high number of “yeahs” on garage inc. very interesting considering that it’s a cover album. Metallica won’t even perform another bands song unless it has an excessive number of “yeahs” in it

While Kill Em All has 9 Yeahs, which is a decent start of his Yeah career (that makes it obvious why Four Horsemen is my favorite song off KEA, because it contains more than half of all Yeahs in KEA), compared to AJFA's single Yeah, Black Album is a solid record. It will never compare to Load Era Metallica though, with it's STAGGERING 197 Yeahs! Just 3 short of 200 yeahs for a period of about 4 years! James Hetfield is not only a riff machine, he a beast of a Yeah-machine

I think bob was trying to get james to have some kind of vocal thing that set him apart. there’s a video where they are trying to figure out a lyric to use in one of the black album songs and yeah was what was used. i can’t remember the song though it was on one of the videos depicting the writing processe
