It might be because u r not engaging your core and all the strain is on your shoulders and neck There are plenty of videos on youtube explaining how to engage your core
Baby steps. Maybe another to get toned a bit on. And don't lock fingers and pull on the head as this gal showed. ~~~ 5 days. pfft. One doesn't get outa shape in five days. Figure 6 mos. to see gains that get ya to smile.
Imagine pulling your belly button into your spine. You can practice it anywhere at anytime and eventually it’ll get easier to do, if not automatic with your inevitably stronger core.
Breathe in some air while “pushing” your stomach out all in one motion, but think about pushing it out more so sideways (laterally). Hold that air in and you should see your core “widen/push outwards laterally”. You can also place your hand on abdomen and feel it push out and contract. Congrats you just engaged/braced/connected your core :) You’re actually bracing your core when you do what I described above, it just feels like a “push”. Most common mistake when it comes to engaging your core is “sucking” in your stomach to your spine (as you see from that comment above mine, this mistake is VERY COMMON). It might feel like you’re engaging your core, but you’re really just sucking in a bunch of mass. Edit: eventually you’ll learn to breathe while maintaining a braced/engaged/connected/contracted/tensed/flexed core, all terms above mean the same exact thing :)
Ok I have a question when I do the these exercises I do feel tension around my core but later on I don’t have any pain , its just feel like something is moving on my core area !! Is this normal? Or am I doing the exercises wrong😅 (btw I’m a belly dancer so don’t know If it makes a difference)
Hows 'bout one set to muscle failure? ~ Ifn can do 200, make it harder to do 'n save time. ~ Before retiring, I'd abs and delts while getting ready for work. Never hitting outside all sweaty in winter is good.
When i was a beginner my nape used to hurt a lot because i wasnt engaging my core After learning the right techniques and with consistency, now it doesnt happent too often with me instead i feel the burn in my core now
Is it normal to hear sounds such as popping or cracking sounds, in the pubic or pelvic region during bicycle crunches while I extend my legs? why do I keep hearing noises from the pubis near my pelic region while doing bicycle crunches? It doesn't hurt but I keep hearing sounds.
i physically cant raise my shoulders for more than 2 seconds omg
It will get easier, it might take 5 days or so but if you keep doing it you’ll notice it gets easier
Update? Lmao
