What a beautiful meeting. The world of music, especially classical music, can often be quite cliquey, so it needed a degree of courage on *both* their parts to undertake this collaboration. But the results were beautiful and heart warming. Well done both ! A small note of pedantry. 'Panis angelicus' is not "opera", it's a sacred song. I used to sing in a professional church choir - just four voices, one per line. Sometimes, we didn't have four singers, in which case the anthem was nearly always 'Panis angelicus' because we had an excellent arrangement for 1,2,3 or 4 voices and organ. Well done , Mr Kavanagh. Good luck to Miranda in her future endeavours - classical music in general and singing in particular is a tough, tough way to make a living, but the rewards can be quite wonderful.

I've been a subscriber to Brendan for years...but when I heard Miranda sing both the Ave Maria and Panis Angelicus a few months ago, a shiver went through my body, which is already 73 years old, a shiver of thrill from the beautiful voice of course Miranda. Rarely heard such a beautiful and clear soprano voice.
