my question is if the price of monitors are the same 240hz 500$ and 360 hz 500$ ( fps 250-300+ not always above 360) so even if it’s not 360 fps you still can play on 240 on 360 hz monitor and with time you can upgrade your pc and get the full 360 hz , the question is it will be a difference between an actual 240 hz and the 360 hz monitor downgrade to 240 hz?

I've had 60hz 144hz and 256hz throughout my 20 year CS career. 60 to 144hz makes a huge difference. 144 to 256 wasn't too noticeable. I don't think anything over 256 matters. Response time is just as important, and I'd favor better color at 256hz than worse color at 350+ hz assuming both are same response
I tried going from 144hz to 360hz and for me personally, the difference was huge, in e.g. CS I noticed a huge difference when moving my mouse side to side or tracking an enemy, I genuinely can't explain how or why but on the 144hz it felt like everything was a blur and I literally couldn't make sense of anything I saw while flicking or tracking someone, it always missed and failed, etc. Now on the 360hz everything was always as clear as day regardless of movement, I guess the 360hz is more suited for my eyes than the 144hz, that one really meses with my vision.

I get around 300-350 avg fps in cs, is 360 worth it or should i have an avg of 400fps? Like its not going under 360
I took a 4 year break and came back to cs when 2 came out. Initially I thought "wow I suck now". But then I switched from my 60hz to 144hz and I instantly started top fragging all the time. It's crazy the difference it makes.

I`ve just bought Msi Oculus 360hz monitor gsync because it had a 49% discount (399Euros). It`s real price was 799, which its a huge discount. My actual monitor its an Asus from 2013 144 hz, with tn panel. And my pc has 6 years old,, but it runs csgo with my video settings between 240 and 400 fps. So I hope a did a good "investment" buying that monitor. :D

The brains' response time peaks at age 24. So you're past your prime, but not much.
In my opinion, 360hz is totally worth it unless you already have 240hz. I jumped from 144hz and it is incredible. People who have 240hz might not notice a massive difference though
It mostly just depends on how powerful your PC is. if you get 400 fps on average when playing CSGO you are missing out with a 240 hz monitor.

Good video finally someone doing a little test with the monitor, but i think you should do the test with the same framerate for all refresrate, i mean 60hz/400fps vs 360hz/400fps not 60hz/60fps vs 360hz/360fps and make a few rounds to see the average.
u do realize that will make 0 difference at all... Hz is the max amount of fps allowed. i can have 400fps on a 60Hz and I'll only see 60fps-
Try it by yourself more fps than hz feels more responsive

i got a 10700k and a 2070super, still getting a 360Hz bcuz in valorant i get 300-360fps and that enough over 240fps for me to get this monitor
need more of a standardized test but thanks for the video. At least blind yourself to the refresh rate.

I just got 144hz again after quitting PC gaming from 2016 til now and I forgot how much better 144 is to 60. If you're debating on bumping up from 60hz do yourself a favor and DO IT

A couple of years ago bought an Acer KG241QS 165Hz it's been the best product I ever bought lately. It's more than enough for casual gaming or Hobbyist but 240Hz is the best. If a guy is serious about going pro or could afford then better go for 360Hz it will never disappoint them. There are a couple of guys I know who say 240Hz is a lot better and affordable for Hobbyist and for Pros definitely 360s. Im actually saving these days and soon 240Hz will be mine if I could afford probably 360Hz

Your first example with aimbotz is probably just down to you doing it multiple times and improving i dont feel the frames would make such a difference when you miss shots

I have a GTX1060 6GO and AMD5600X, CSGO is running at 600 FPS. Just to let you know. No need of an RTX3080. But I liked the content. Thumbs up !
Csgo is CPU game so 5600x is actually enough but saying no need of 3080 isn't righ xd people also play other games at 4k or 1440p etc so yeah people buy 3080 for it lol for CS even a 1050ti is enough
Let's say you got a 360 hz monitor but your video card is pretty trash do you let it on 360 hz on games or do you move to the hz your and fps that your video card can get? And this apllys to the other categories of hz monitors 240 hz 165 144 etc???

I just got a 144hz monitor and its worlds different from 60hz. I don't think my eyes can handle 360hz ever haha.
If your pc can run csgo at stable 360+fps, you won't ever regret 360hz monitor

Its not the same feeling when u play on 60 fps on 60 hz and playing on lets say 100 fps on 60hz,its more smoother
On 60 hz I always noticed a lot of screen tearing. I feel like even if you get 100 fps it can be worth it to get a 144 hz monitor so you can get an extra 40 vs a 60 hz monitor.

From benchmarks I've seen, you would get over 360 fps on average
Although, even with a 5950x and 3090, you can dip into the 200s in smokes and that setup is slightly better on average while being much more expensive
Since the difference between something like a 2080 (or a 3060ti that's even better) and a 3090 won't impact you in CS:GO because of how CPU bound the game is and a 5950x is only slightly faster than the 5600x in CS:GO, you can definitely play on 360hz no problem without a 3080 despite what this youtuber says
but that's only if the parts and the money are available

Why are you saying 360hz requires best gpu? An old 4790k with 1080ti 1080p low settings can pull off +500 fps, that's more than enough to keep the 360hz smooth, so I don't know what you're on about??

Apex??? That game isn't even optimized for 240, everyone I know that has a 240hz monitor is getting stutters, and all the apex pros are capping the game at 180-190hz. No way it works fine at 360 🤦♂️

you are wrong, i have 2070 (not super) and im getting 300-400 fps so if you have 2080 super or better you can get over 360fps on cs

60 to 144 is game changing and will make you a significantally better player (personally) 144 to 240 ( i have a 240) is nice but its not game changing.
I’m only willing to see my TRUE level of skill, cause I’m on 165hz n I’m an awper. I know only 85% of my shots are being registered. Just curious if I should go all out on 360hz or just 240hz, but all means I ain’t tryna go pro but I’d like my bullets to register ON TIME when I click my mouse to fire 😊

@@TurboMotionZ during the time being, I had bought the BenQ Zowie 240 hz XL2546 Dyac+ I must say the color n brightness was definitely upgrade from the pg279q. Last night I bought the pg259qn 360hz. I can definitely say it’s worth the 5% increase from 240hz n 360hz. Especially if your role is a AWPER.

I got an 360hz gaming laptop with an rtx 3060 and an I7 11800H and have no problem with hitting the 360fps. So I'd say a 3080 isn't really the minimum if you have a 3060,3060ti or 3070 and upwards it's also enough with a good processor

Depends on your csgo settings but prolably yes coz i can get 400+ fps on 2060 if i run csgo on 1280x960 + max settings

That’s why this guy imo shud stick to any CSGO content not related to skills (Like how to Aim, spray, map guide, etc).. Coz he just shouldnt to be as good as this guy is too ez.. For skills related one of the best guy is Voo Csgo (He’s almost like a pro level with very deep understanding of the game).. Earth and Sky compare to this guy..
