What gets me to this day is his sense of orientation in mid air. MJ didn't even need to be looking at the rim to make shots. That's insane!

    • @katrinachavez3533

His aerial anarchy is like nothing we have ever witnessed. I once saw him change direction in mid-air against Clippers at old LA Sports Arena. He took off baseline and ended up a few feet in front of rim. I had to look at replay on jumbotron to make sure my eyes hadn't deceive me.

Im 53 years old and from chicago. I watched all of MJ's career, all of Kobe's career and some of Lebron's career as much as I could stomach. I can tell you now Lebron can't touch MJ. Those highlights you watched of Jordan, he played like this EVERY GAME. Every game he played was must watch tv! I know you heard this from tons of people in my age group, but Jordan sits on TOP of the GOAT Pyramid.

      100% accurate!
Mike was faster, smarter, better. No contest.
MJ was a better all around player, offence, and especially defense.
He was also a lot tougher (compare number of 82 game seasons, knowing Jordan's era was FAR more physical.

If you were to watch LeBron’s best highlights and then watch MJs best highlights, you’ll realize quickly that they are different like day is to night…LeBron’s 3” taller and weighs more than MJ, but MJ was dunking on guys much bigger, stronger, faster, and more athletic than LeBron since his first year in the NBA…MJ was doing all that and more!… in fact, he was doing those kinds of things throughout his entire career against hall of famers, legends, all-stars, and super stars…I’ve seen Dr.J., Bird, Magic, Kareem, Shaq, Kobe, Wade, LeBron and it seems that MJ was so much different in the way he played…MJ played the game as if he was just having fun while dominating whoever he went up against…he was a true UFO/E.T. on the court.✌️🎤🔥🐐👽

@@champagne.bigroeLeBron's play style is different; maybe someone of his size and frame should mimic his shooting, free throw, and driving skills. I think if I copy his play style, I'd look like an idiot. I'm not saying he looks like that because he can score with his unique posture and shooting form, but I feel like it's hard to replicate LeBron's style since it's tailored for him, considering his size, frame, and exceptional skills.

Ok young buck. You say that you’ve never seen MJ play but you’ve seen LBJ play. So when old heads who watch both MJ and LBJ play tell you that MJ was better just accept it. We’re not just saying it to be funny towards the younger generation, we’re saying it because it’s true. Even with all of the athleticism of today’s generation we are still confidently saying MJ was better. It’s because it’s facts.

There’s no one today doing it as well as him today or any day. He’s the goat. There’s no thinking about it. Watch the definitive comparison, mixtape, voyager 1 and 2, best defense, best passes, playing point guard, who had the best seasons video. That one makes it obvious who’s the goat, and records that will never be beaten. Then you will have no questions on who’s the goat. If Jordan was playing now a days he’d still be dominating the same way. Probably more due to rule changes and how soft the league is. His competitiveness alone wouldn’t allow Lebron or anyone else being better. He wouldn’t stop until he proved he’s the best. Lebron wouldn’t.

For example, Magic, Bird, and Dr. Jay were people Mj learned from and picked up lives from while adding his own flair. • @2villainy
      @2villainy 9 месяцев назад

Only resistance to Jordan in this era would be zone defense...I remember when he made his second comeback, rules had changed that eliminated the 'illegal defense' rule which then allowed zone defenses and I remember Jordan not being a fan of it.... likely because zone defenses make it harder to attack the basket and forces more perimeter shots.....it was a ploy to slow shaq down as well as entice more 3s and points in general....
But as we saw, that still didn't slow Mike down, even at the age he was at, surrounded by bums

How good? You mean GREAT. 2- 3 peats, 6 championships w/6 finals mvps, 2 Olympic gold medals, never have to go to game 7, undefeated in championship @ 6 and 0, ncaa championships, he has too many accolades to even list in a 500 word essay. And not to mention he's the most clutch player ever....... the only thing LeBron has done that Jordan hasn't is stayed in the NBA that long if Jordan would have stayed in that long there's nobody could ever touch his records..... but most importantly, Jordan had no weakness in the game of basketball LeBron had a bunch. Not to mention nowadays you can't even hang around in the paint and Jordan was slamming on the whole teams under the goal now it's just a watered-down version of a bunch of three-point shots

LeBron has only won 40% of the NBA titles he competed for. He’s lost more than he’s won. That alone disqualifies him from the GOAT debate. His all-time points lead is due to longevity and playing in the current cup cake era, not scoring prowess. Most of his points come from within 3 feet of the basket. If you force him to shoot beyond that, his best shooting percentage is about 35%. He’s also the all-time turnover leader, and he shoots a poor 75% free-throw percentage for someone as ball dominant as he is. It never really was a debate. LeBron is a great player, but is not in the GOAT conversation. He is in the greatest of “his” draft class or era conversation.

It wasn't only Jordan that had athleticism... he just had the biggest WILL TO WIN, and he NEVER let up (even as a 39-40 yo with the Wizards)!

Unfortunately, u didn’t pick a very good video that shows MJ’s greatness. I suggest u watch Michael Jordan Best Rare Video Ever (Voyager)1/2. Good to see a young open mind that’s willing to do the research & learn the truth. That will put all ur doubts to rest!!

LeBron only WISHES he was as great as Jordan.
Hint; LeBron will NEVER be as great as MJ.
LeBron was a little bigger, that's all. Period.
I watched MJ throughout his entire career,
No one comes close. MJ, IS the G.O.A.T.

Running to the Heat ruined any conversation for him. Then losing with them twice and having Ray Allen save them was even worse.
Then Kyrie and AD were the real MVPs of the last 2.

Well, he said he is humbled because he was being recognized and putting his name around the Hall of Famers at that time. He also mentioned that he did what Jordan did in terms of style and other aspects. He wanted to be like Mike, but Bron did it in his own way. He wasn't Mike; he was Bron. All of those accomplishments he achieved weren't just because he won them alone, but as a team, much like Mike.
Winning FMVP and MVP are part of the comparison, and winning individual accomplishments is also part of the comparison.
      thats why if you compare
jordan and bron, bron isnt close to jordan.

To give you an idea in the age of information and even Lebron is not more popular than Jordan in a time when the internet did not even exist

Lebron lost all claim to any goat argument after 2011. Can't disappear in multiple 4th quarters on a super team and be the goat. I'd have more respect for his career if he stayed in Cleveland and just got one. He couldn't get one in Miami until they got Ray Allen on top of the big 3. The comeback on Golden State was great, can't front on that. And the bubble chip was a joke. The only reason AD was healthy was because they had like 4 months off lmao. And I am a Lakers fan.

Let's put it like this, there were others who played flashy("Pistol" Pete Maravich), Dr.J(Julius Irving)but to combine the elements of intensity, drive, blacktop style and flashiness,MJ was the best- and had two three- peats to prove it

ofc there no internet before so saying thered no one doing those clutch lay up that time is normal but everyone can also do the same thing, its just that there werent as popular as player like jordan, shaq, rodman, pippen, stockton etc.
but lay ups and those dunks are just common that day, everyone doing that shit.

I watched MJ , Kobe play and I have watched LeBron play as well ..LeBron is Not even comparable to kobe never mind MJ ..MJ was a different breed ...Player's feared him and if you pissed him off.....it went to another level of play. Complete package to win basketball games ..Look at what MJ did in really only 13 seasons ......LeBron is still playing and he is not even close...MJ is the only Goat

MJ was ALSO crazy on DEFENSE even in his last couple of years as a 40 year old. LeBron, not much at all. Seeing MJ live was unbelievable, which I did. I HATED him as a Knicks fan in the 1990s, but I knew then and know now MJ has been and always be the GOAT.

No one is doing what he did. Average 30+ per game for a career, 10 scoring titles on career 50% shooting, a DPoY, and 9 all-defensive teams. None of those cats played both ends like he did. That's before we get to the winning and MVPs.
