I grew up in Chicago during the 90s and never missed a game. He was and will be Superman in my eyes. You never knew what you were witnessing. This was before the internet, before RUclips, before Tivo, etc. If you didn't watch it live you missed it. Times were different back then, in a good and bad way but it definitely forced you to watch live games and sit through commercials.
MJ was putting on a show each night. There was no "load management" and he played injured in a very physical era. If you bought a ticket to see MJ, you were going to see MJ give it all to entertain you. Today's era is missing that aspect.

I loved “Air”. It was so good to see how Air Jordans were created and the story behind his success, his drive and his parents.

MJ's greatness will never be surpassed by Lebron because MJ made the game global. Everyone missed MJ, the league, the fans, the players. I'm personally ready for the team hopping self proclaimer to retire. But even if you kept it strictly basketball, I will never be able to get over the fact that he had to team hop to superteams just to get 4 and left a few on the table choking, all the opposite of GOAT like activity

its crazy to me that a young MJ came in and led the bulls filled with bunch if scrubs to play offs consistently and lost against established solid teams with great players that went on to finals or even win the finals, yet thats been turned into such a negative thing with the whole 1-9 thing lol

The quote was made after they lost to the magic that “number 45 isn’t 23” and that pissed him off so he switched back to show them that he was, in fact 23. 😂

It wasn't just in the city the Bulls were playing in!! When Chicago was going to be on TV everyone who was a big NBA fan stopped what we were doing to watch the game because that man was the definition of "MUST SEE TV" and it didn't matter who your favorite team was!!! That man was ridiculous from the jump!!! He wasn't ever my favorite player but I damn sure watched every game that was on TV period and I'm from Los Angeles during the "The Showtime Lakers" era!!! I'm 48 years old and I'm still watching this man play because today's NBA style of play is absolutely garbage and extremely boring to watch!!! LeFlop James fan's need to educate themselves and stop it because James HASN'T EVER BEEN ON JORDAN'S LEVEL for a single solitary second

You are so right. Flopping was not in Jordan’s vocabulary. He would have considered it a shame to the game. None of the Bulls were flopper while he was leading the team.

I’ve seen the video many times before, but I just caught the part when MJ stole the ball from Reggie Theus and dunked it on the other end. MJ replaced Reggie Theus if I remember correctly. I was a kid back then, so it’s all fuzzy. Reggie Theus used to be my favorite Bull until Jordan. Talk about adding insult to injury. 😄

NCAA championship, 2 time ncaa player of the year, NBA rookie of the year, 6- 0 in finals championships w/ 2- three peats in 8 yrs. and only reason it wasn't 8 in a row,he played baseball 1 yr 1/2, never had to play a game 7, 6 -finals MVP, 5 regular season MVP, defensive player of the year title, 10 scoring titles, 3-steals titles, 3 -all star MVP, 2- slam dunk titles, 2- olympic gold medals championships, hardest worker in the game, no weaknesses, most clutch and buzzer beaters when games on the line, etc,etc,etc...all what lebron wishes he'll be when he grows up. LeBron's been in twice as long as Jordan was and still hasn't come close to his accomplishments...... what is the debate

I was 12 years old when Jordan came out on the scene it was the most magical thing I have ever witnessed never saw anything else ever in my life everybody watch sitting on their porches watching the game and it was the best time to live but I never seen anything greater than what I witnessed that the 1984 85-86 all the way to 98 it still has never witnessed anything that great since LeBron's not even close I wish this fake narrative would stop about the Brian he's not even in the top 15
