I used to watch her on R&B Divas. The thing about Lil Mo is that she can really sing. I don't think any of the commercial songs she released did her voice justice. The industry definitely slept on her, she has some major pipes. Then again, we know that it's not always the most talented who gets the most exposure. So....
She’s messy tho and ghetto and started getting high
So true which is unfortunate
She's very messy, unpredictable, and lots of attitude. She burnt a lot of bridges
Agreed! It's like she never got the right songs
definitely agreed!!! she wasn't too much into the industry games that's why she didn't make it far... girl has actual talent.... to me she's like a Fantasia she can do the r&b but the gospel is where her voice will really show what it do
She was like Nate Dogg for a minute on the feature side of things.
@@MymamamadethisCtfu you a lil too angry over an opinion. The dislike is right there my boi, chill.
@@Mymamamadethis ppl keep your faith please?
She really is a female nate Dogg. Ppl always discredit her but they are In the same lane
@@Mymamamadethis 😂
@@Mymamamadethis Are you kidding me? Put it on me alone ran circles around anything Trini James has done 😂
"When I cry, you cry, we cry....togetha" Her and Ja Rule + Fabolous made some of the best music collabs in the early 2000's
I like it's just those rainy days sitting there trying to wash em away smile for me smile for me with Mary j blige and Ja Rule
MO is a clear example of “ if you fall, dust yourself off, get up and push on “
Respect MO ❤️💯🙏🏾
Love lil Mo, she has one of the best voices in the industry. Very underrated 🔥
FACTS
Exactly.. she can SANG
She didn’t have the right songs to show case her talents
@@ChaeThompson yes she can i have a huge crush on her, shes extremely beautiful and she has an amazing singing voice
Quite honestly one of the most underrated voices in the genre (Nicole Wray is another underrated gem).
And Tweet
Love Nicole Wray🔥🔥🔥
@@kenyettaready YES‼️
Lil’ Mo came out in 2001, a year dominated by strong female R&B artist. “Player Not the Game” is one of the most overlooked R&B duets of that decade.🔥
Omg❣️❣️❣️ yessssssss her and Carl killed that!
Player not the game is my jam!
I Love Her
She came out in '99, her debut album just came out in 01
But it the player not the game baby!!! Lol 😂
I still bop to “Superwoman” 🙏🏽 lover her voice!
That's a good song!
Me too probably too much 😩
Missy has put a lot of people on
The careers went nowhere
But in return, Lil MO introduced Fabulous and jump started his career... I love it
@@beb5407 That's on them, not Missy
@@beb5407 Jasmine Sullivan just got a grammy nod soooooo
@@beb5407 😂😂😂😂
She is a busy body and has a very colorful life. There's always something going on in her life.
Yea always in some drama.
Very interesting way of saying messy and toxic. I'm impressed

😂😂😂
@@TCthaCrisis lmfaooo yes I'm impressed as well I can't lie
The Prince beef is hilarious, loved his clap back 🤭. Great video!
The King of Shade. Damn, I miss his lil azz! 💜💜💜
@Shenyae T
Girl BYE! A lot of Black women are disrespectful to one another and themselves on a daily basis. All he pointed out was his observation that her clothes didn't match. He didn't call her a b1tch, a ho', or some other 'term of endearment.' He didn't release a dis track towards her, nor refer to her in some other derogatory term. He said what he said and moved on. He didn't call for her, yet she came for him because she couldn't go pee.
Love how Lil Mo got her flowers while she's still here she did an interview on Drink Champs and sang with Ja Rule at the Versuz battle between Ja Rule and Fat Joe!
I'm sorry, I'm still screaming about Prince's clapback about her clothes not matching 🤣🤣🤣
His shady highness! Tell Ms. Caption in this Picture thing...😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yes !! It cracked me up ! 😂
🤣
♊️💜🤣😂🤣
Also love her collaboration with Angie Martinez on the song If I Could Go!!
I always wondered what happened to her after “4EVER” and “Can’t Let You Go”. Those were two huge songs yet that album era just fizzled out fast. I didn’t even know she made music past 2003 like that.
Hearing just a snippet of "Superwoman" brought back a wave of nostalgia! That song is literally the embodiment of 2001 R&B music. So many great songs came out that year. It didn't even dawn on me that the song and album turn 20 this year!
I must say she is a strong and determined woman.
Yes !! She said in a TBC interview that she's a go-getter.
Best lipgloss in the game
💯 Always
Prince a diva! 💅🏽 His clap back was impeccable! 😭
Superwoman Pt. II and 4Ever by Lil Mo are still bangers to this day!!
Lil Mo is one of the unsung HEROES of the early 00s man. I loved ALL her stuff. I ALWAYS thought she deserved it more than damn Ashanti. And that’s jus it imo. Both are great, but Mo has TALENT and a HALF.
🤔 light skin privilege or class vs sass? Lil Mo definitely has great talent but is hard to work with.
Ashanti was ummh but Mo could blow her ass off!
Lil Mo is the perfect example of why your private life should be private. Her voice is amazing but her antics outside of music has trumped her accomplishments.
Omg I miss Prince so much. The shade 😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂💯
Lil Mo is a good example of conquering your personal and coming out as a winner and for that it's good to hear she's doing better for herself and her children.
Mo is talented.. I remember her song on Miri Ben Ari's album the hip hop violinist being my fave track.. Ja definitely needs to continue saying thank you because he and Ashanti had bangers but he and Mo had hood bangers.. "I cry" is still one of my fave Ja collabs... Mo's issue is she can be messy and VERY petty as opposed to just trying to work on her craft... She was recently on drink Champs and all I could think is she's an addict... They should've served water that day... Addiction is a life long thing... I wish her nothing but the best... God bless
"They should've served water that day" 😂
Wow!! I thought the same thing, why they serving her drinks?? #sober??
@@sunshinesunflowerz1647 I respect that but sobriety and being responsible is up to the individual... She should've said if I can't drink juice instead of alcohol then I can't do this interview.. Nothing is more important than taking care of yourself which she admits she has issues with... I wasn't saying it to be funny... I think it's sad... I wish her the best.. Because NORE is supposed to be her friend but u gotta look out for u... Period.
They did Lamar Odom dirty & Nore grew up with Lamar which made it even more messed up so what made y'all think they weren't gonna do her dirty 🤔
@@81sexislim I didn't see that episode but ur right... He's a recovering addict too... I like the narrative of the show but hip hop constantly says we gotta start looking out for each other... Well that's one way... When someone whose had a substance abuse issue goes on drink Champs they need to have juice in those cups.
My teenage years! I remember when Lil Mo debuted with "Five Minutes" and "Ta Da". I had her debut cd album and I still love her cover of "Time After Time" as well as the song "Player Not the Game" featuring Carl Thomas. I didn't know she released a second album. And I remember hearing about the drama during early 2000s. Thank you for posting.
Mo should be bigger than what she is
I went to Albritton and E.E. Smith with MO’s sister Cherise Loving. She could blow too!
WOW THEY GOT TALENT
That’s crazy and makes sense. I had heard in the past she was In Fayetteville, NC where I’m from. I went to college right down the street from E.E. Smith as well at Fayetteville State University
@@aceblanks7658 Broncoooooooooooooooo Pride! #AttitudeCheck ! I went to Fayetteville State also. I marched with the Bronco Express and an OC of Cheer Phi Smoov. Always love bumping into Bronco fam!
@@aceblanks7658 Yeah, they were in “The Ville” for a little spell. That was always the rumblings on base and through the halls that Loving’s big sister was a big deal and singing ran in the family.
I always love seeing fellow Fayettevillians I went to albritton also.
I had Superwoman song on repeat and I swore I played it 10 times already. I remember my dad banging on my door telling me thats enough! Damn I loved that song.
I would love to see stories on Horace Brown, Christina Milian, Charli Baltimore, Shyheim, Keith Murray, Lil Zane, Chino XL, Murphy Lee, Chingy, Tara Kemp, and Dru Down
shyheim just released an album, hes still doing his thing at least.
I always wondered what happened to Lil Zane …
Yes, Horace Brown for me!
I was just listening to Christina Milian and Ja Rule, Get Away song. Song is still 🔥 definitely want to see what happened to her.
@@raiginefolk9701 he died
Prince even though you’re gone you is a roast king LMFAO
Immortalized
Honestly I would be honored to be shaded by Prince😂
😆
I literally laughed out loud at the Prince comment 🤣.
😂😂😂
Me too, I was laughing right along with that Beyonce clip they put right after it...cause it's TRUE!! LOL
Me tooo😂😂🤣🤣
😂🤣😂🤣😂
Ja Rule played her ass. When those lawsuits hit suddenly folks wanna forgive and get back together.
Right like she should've continued with that lawsuit
Prince for the win!🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
@Shenyae T girrrrl bye. Prince said her clothes didn't match. Now tell where do colorist come in?
"I hope she knows none of her clothes match" 😅 they don't 🤣
Folks just be inviting any ole body into their marriage. I'm glad she didn't get an STI/STD, babies, or R accusations from their encounters. I'm just glad she got clean and got out of that toxic relationship alive. You can tell from her music that she is a fighter and I hope she's in therapy to deal with all that trauma. We've lost too many celebs and celeb family members to fentanyl overdoses this year because of the pandemic.
The throwback photo at 0:42 is giving Lil Kim from Junior Mafia vibes
Thank you. I was looking for this comment. They look like distant relatives ❤
Elektra Records had a lot of acts on there like Missy Elliott, Fabolous, Busta Rhymes, Nate Dogg, etc.
I never leave comments but that Prince comeback had me dying 😂🤣😂🤣
Can you do a story on Teena Marie, Vesta Williams, Deniece Williams, Shanice, and Loose ends?
Great line up
That line up is 🔥!!
Loose ends should be in the Playlist? I've seen it here
If it wasn't Soul II Soul, loose Ends was just as dope 🤓👍!
That little anecdote makes Keyshia sound like a nutcase LMAO “you’re traitors and Lil Mo is the ENEMY!” like huh??? Made me chuckle a bit
My favs from Mo is Superwoman pt 2 ft F-a-b-o-l-o-u-s & Hot Boyzz w/Missy E. Definitely sound tracks to my late elementary/jr high years. Love this channel. Can you add Nicole Wray to the list?
Yes mines too and Nicole Wray as well.
The drama, girl, the DRAMA! ☕
4Ever Ft. Fabolous was the jam for so long. Still amazing.
"Yes you heard that correctly". Thanks Sis bc I was like ummmm what 😂
Her voice is one of a kind!
Lil Mo has chaotic energy she's all over the place..... And it's exhausting !
Lil mo could sing soo very uniquely perfect tone and got lots of hits but my favorite song had to say “superwoman” one of her best big hit in this music history.
I always loved Lil Mo’s voice🎤🎶🎶❤️
Mo has definitely been through it 🥺🥺 she’s a survivor! You definitely spilled a lot of tea in this video lol a lot of this I never heard before
Lil Mo, give your life to Jesus Christ and be saved. ❤️
I would also love to see stories on groups like 3T, N II U, II Da Extreme, Above the Law, The Coup, The Conscious Daughters, Original Flavor, Black Moon, Onyx, Tha Alkaholiks, The Beatnuts, etc.!!
Wow, your channel is growing!! Congrats! Great content ❤️😎
Thank you!
Your videos are so dope! VH1 or BET need to hire you to do these on a bigger platform!
Thank you so much! 🥰
Another great video as always, you always give me my dose of nostalgia. 🤩
When you really understand how this industry works, you see the symbolism immediately...
TRUTH
Damn!! This story was depressing!!
Her Cover of Cyndi Lauper's Time after Time is better than the original version imo. It was on her Based on A true story album..
She definitely can sing. I think another R&B show should happen...with her and Chanté without the drama
Dang I didn’t know all that about Lil Mo. That’s a lot of drama and the industry is messy as hell too. I didn’t know she had this many albums. Excellent commentary. I enjoy this channel. ❤️
“FRIENDS(Those Girls)” is my favorite song from her.
How Many Ways and Saturday is dope too off her first album.
Based on a True Story is still one of my favorite albums 🔥 her uncle is the Gospel legend, John P. Kee.
JOHN P KEE IS MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE GOSPEL SINGER PERIOD ,I REALLY LIKE MOE’S MUSIC
I pray she finds peace
ANYTHING she made with Missy was and is still bangin'! 🎶🎵💕
Superwoman is one of my favourite songs of all times up to this day!!!!!!!
To me Lil Mo is just beautiful and I love her style. I'm glad to see her still making moves forward after everything she's been through.
So through all this, I never heard she got counseling just for herself. lol, she really was jumping around and having all these kids with no actual stability in her own career and all the kids just having to go along for the ride of her serial marriages.
Always liked Lil Mo...my favorite jam was "4 Ever". I would blast that song 🎵 🎶
My favorite song is i cry ft ja rule. The best song
New subbie ✌🤪✌ Your content is the 💣 soooo yk I had to join the squad lol..
I used to really like Lil Mo until she came into job and was super mean & nasty for NO REASON. I’ll spare y’all the details but I quit that day after telling her off.
Good for you
Say what? I want the details! 😂
@@JuicyPopEntertainment I was an insurance agent in DC, she tried to insure FAKE jewelry by using a FAKE appraisal… when I politely told her why we can’t insure her, she called herself cursing me out & when my boss came out to see what the commotion was about she straight up LIED & he scolded me in front of her , undoubtedly bc of her “celebrity” status. I went off on BOTH OF THEM, quit, and secured a better paying job with a better title 2 days later. I still wish her the best but it’s a NO for me.
@@KpTheG I'm glad you stood up for yourself. Lil No seems to be engaged with chaos and discord all the time.
@@MsKim510 I’m glad I watched this video though bc it gave me a little insight on why she may have lashed out. Didn’t know she was going through all of that but it’s still no reason to treat people badly.
I listen to “TA-DA” everyday in the shower🥰🥰
That song really is a bop! This was when I was first introduced to her.
Yessss i still bop it too 🙌🏽
Okay cause she sang downe on that one!!!
I listen to Superwoman like every week lol
Y'all do the damn thang when it comes to putting together the life and story of celebs lives. I bow down to y'all for all y'all do for y'all watchers.. thank you so much.
Lil Mo’s colour cornrows was life 😁😁
Thank you for doing this 🌷
I loved her when she was featured in the song thug nature with 2Pac
One of the best hooks ever made
Lil Mo is the female Nate Dogg!!
I never knew Reverend John P kee is her Uncle!
Oh wow. I love John P Kee and I’ve never seen her sing with him.
Love her collaborations with Ja Rule and Fabolous!!
It’s unfortunate that a lot of things Mo puts her hands on doesn’t last long. She was even apart of 93.9 WKYS, a DC radio show, for only like a year. Every time I’m excited to see her she’s gone again.
She has such timeless music!! Such a vulnerable and powerful voice!!
I know something must have been going on with her, there must have been some childhood trauma for all these mess in her life.,I pray she will get her life together..
Yep
Thank you, another great one!
Lil Mo could always sing her butt off. I thought her Nicole Wray and Keke Wyatt were so underrated and slept on
😂 Man I’m getting old lil mo debut was 20 years ago, side note superwoman still bumps in 2022
Just glad to see her at the best mental health ,Leaving behind chemicals and abusive relationships.
Always been a #1talent.
YOUGOGIRL 😄🤣🤩😛😍
I always loved the strength and soul of Lil' Mos voice❤
Prince saying that her clothes don’t match was hilarious 😂😂😂
I never understood why celebrities go on daytime court tv. I've seen Ike Turner on Divorce Court. As well as Gary Coleman, Jerome from Everybody Hates Chris, and Rick James.
Facts. I saw Young Joc on Judge Faith once & did a double take.
Wishing her many blessings and continued success!
The memes are hilarious 😂😂😂
Fat Joe ain’t s*** for calling them dusty B’s! Apology NOT accepted 😒
I thought fat pro I mean joe was talking about his momma 🤣
Fat Joe (The Blob)FatAss 🤣😅😂just mad cause nobody listens to his music anymore, which is so lame cant remember but the one hit song he did with Ashanti

Still love her super woman is still a banger today.💯🇯🇲🇧🇧🙏🏿❤️🇨🇦🔥

Thanks for doing this video, I didn't know she had A book out
Great video, next do the singer Amerie
She is addicted to marriage and bearing children.Sheesh!!!Can't stand being alone and healing.
