Overall, a very well done video, thanks. However, unless I missed it, you didn't explain how we know the controller or battery is fully charged. I know the lights blink during charging. But once fully charged, do the lights stay on steady? Do they go out completely? Or do all lights continue to blink. Thanks again for a well done video.
When the batts on the controller and RC are fully charged, after pressing the power button once, all 4 LED lights will come on briefly. As the discharge you'll see 3 with a 4th blink, then 3 solid, etc., etc.
That's correct. The Air 3/S charges sequentially, not simultaneously. It will charge the battery with the most power first, to get you in the Air quicker, then work on the rest of the batteries in order of most power.
I can’t believe they don’t have a dedicated wall charger like the air2. This charges like the minis. Then they make you buy a high power type c charger. My air2 came with a charger that works well.
I bought a charging hub that is slightly different in appearance than the one in this video clip, in that it is flat, with connections allowing the three batteries to lay flat on the table. The issue I have encountered in this first attempt to charge my newly acquired Air 3 batteries, is that the first of the three batteries to be charged did NOT attain full charge even after being left powered on overnight. The battery that was charging only reached the point of illuminating just 3 of 4 of the charge indicator lights, indicating 75% charge at most, which I find very odd after nearly 6 hours of uninterrupted charge time. The initial charge of an Air 3 battery is stated as 2 hours at most, by DJI. I finally removed that partially charged battery so that the next battery in terms of charge level could begin to charge. Any thoughts on this partial charge predicament would be appreciated.
Are you using a 60 or 100 watt PD charger? We find those work the best without issue. If not, the issue you are having has been reported by many using hubs with lower wattage.
Hey there. I don't get why mine blinks green, then again shows static yellow light at the same time amid green blinks. does it mean it's charging and accumulating power to one batter at the same time? Thank you for your help
Thank you for the video! Would I be able to take my drone and batteries with me on a plane? I know TSA is strict on L-ion batteries, do you know how many watts a battery has?

@@Droneblog Excellent. Thank you so much for the prompt response. I'm new to the world of drones and really got a lot out of your video. Thanks again.

Thanks for the heads up, I'll go back through and add them!
@@Droneblog No problemo
When I plug in all batteries in, it only seems to be charging one at a time?

Very good clear presentation so thank you!

Hi Dan. How long the batteries can stays fully charged before using them?

Does the drone come with a 100 watt power adapter?
No, it does not.
Wtf
