After many years of training and winning many major titles, Bernardo moved to NYC in 2013 to train and teach at Marcelo Garcia Academy. In 2015 Bernardo achieved his dream of winning the IBJJF World Championship Open class title and his division, doing the double Gold and becoming the 1st in the IBJJF Ranking and also chosen as the best athlete of 2015.

This is crazy helpful, thank you Bernardo! I end up in omoplata a lot and was looking for an answer for situations when my opponent rolls forward or steps over, much appreciated!
Does anyone know who invented the monoplata? I first saw it on Marcelo Garcia's Advanced Omoplata DVD series, which came out about 10-12 years ago.

@@TristanBehrens Tristan, don't worry. I just called my local police department about this issue. The detective just told me he's looking into it and will let me know when the judge signs the warrant. Thank you for bringing this serious matter to our attention.

The psychopath that did this must not be allowed to remain at large. Very concerning that it has remained for so long without already garnering police attention...
