Obama carried on his back most toughest times during those 8 years. Comparing tough 2008 days to 2016 is like comparing day and night. He really stabilized violently shaking giant ship.

Insurance in this country is so complicated and has been for all time. As a kid, I remember my mom and dad would marvel at the huge, beautiful buildings around this country that held these companies. Insurance companies made lots and lots of money for themselves and their investors; no problem there, except they decided that their customers were, at the most, third in line. We've had all the problems that have now caused so many of us to consider ourselves victims, fearing the loss of our individual freedoms, and forgetting that this is a country of the people, by the people and for the people, for a long, long time. We want our freedom, but someone else to get and keep it for us.

Very encouraging; check source for information, to reduce division, conflict and hostility. For Democracy to thrive we ought to be more careful and responsible of what we read and see ' STOP' Disinformation and misinformation. Enhance critical thinking of Facts versus opinions, protect Democracy and the Rule of Law, thank you all very much for this discussion and space.

I wish he would have said "if we're willing to WORK for them" rather than "fight for them"... Seems words of war-like attitude are used way too much. War sometimes seems easier for people to get their minds around than words like work, persistence, vigilance.

Basically he's saying he doesn't agree with doing any big transformative policy especially policy that'll help the black community because it'll make white people & other people mad.
