Oh yeah, learned something new even after 40 years of workin on small engines. Never thought to use a piece of wood to remove rust or gasket materials. Thank Ya much!
Dang this is like a cooking show for small engines! I don't have one of these; however, by watching this I DID learn a lot... Thanks for the videos, cheers!!
Jaryl makes it look so easy! I would have got it all apart, forgot where the screws went, and thrown it in the garbage and bought a new one! Good job Mr. Dactyl!
I’ll never do this, but Cousin Jaryl has such a soothing voice, I didn’t mind listening and watching for 47 minutes. Great tip about the block of wood, too. But thought I noticed a gasket laying on that table, when all was assembled. Hmmm....
LMAO!!! Well I guess ole CUZ ain't as dumb as he looks. Ha ha. Better check your inventory to make sure your not missing a short block. Lol. All kidding aside, you put that extra effort in your videos, from editing, the sound effects to the music to the role play theme, play on words, and all involved. Love the vids. Both educational, funny, entertaining, and inspiring.
Found this channel when I was in vocational college for automotive repair. Had to do research on Electric PTO clutches. We came across Taryl and Thought, this is gonna be stupid, next thing you know we were sitting there mouth opened, zoned out on the video. Been watching ever since.
What a great video, cousin Jaryl knows his stuff for sure, I'm restoring a weed eater right now so this video was right up my alley, the motor is in perfect shape, hardly no wear, just doing a freshen up on it.
Hey Taryl, if your kin starts a RUclips channel you're in for some big time competition I'd definitely subscribe he's precise and has a calming voice 😃😃😊
I used to watch Donny boy 73 a lot, but you sure make my day, I am my family's repair man and friends also, hey free labor everyone loves that, Boys keep on keeping on, Thanks for the video
These little engines catch PURE HELL!!.I bought a brand new Stihl FS-76 back in June of 1993.I finally as of last year changed the FACTORY original plug in it after 24 years of heavy use.I use Amsoils Saber 2-cycle oil 1.5 ounces to a gallon of gas since break in.I've checked the inside of this engine and it still looks brand new.
4 gauge that's what I use in all of my equipment. I have all husqvarna and stihl stuff but slowly phasing stihl out since I can't get along with some of their new stuff but the chainsaws I can still see the numbers on the piston they're so clean. I use startron or whatever fuel stabilizer too
Cameron Crane I use Amsoil 0W30 in my John Deere garden tractor and it makes a really big difference in fuel consumption.I decreased the fuel consumption by nearly 2 full quarts per hour.
Cameron Crane I've had the so-called pro-husky stuff apart too many times.People are constantly telling me this and its not true. The husky stuff(home owner and pro)has only one compression ring and the other ring is a oil ring.STIHL uses TWO compression rings from the cheapest home owner saw all the way up to the 880 magnum series($2,000.00 saw by the way)and ONE oil ring.
I looked up that part number and I was surprised on how much that cost. Now this is August of 2021 and right now everywhere I look it was $170. Now I know you don't pay the retail price but even what you pay would still have to be a lot of money and on top of buying the part you have your labor that you will charge. I do enjoy watching how you go about switching out the short block. It makes a good video to watch. Like always I enjoyed watching your video look forward to watching the next one..
I'm shore glad I found y'all. Afore I did I had no idea the best way to bend a crankshaft on lawn motor. Now I kin get out of mowin the lawn as they say in French. I have learnt a whole bunch. I'm mity grateful. I was wandering if you're dentist is taken new patients.
Great video guys. I am going to make me that trimmer holder. I got a vice-grip that has been laying around in the rain for months. Now I got some use for it. Thanks for all the brainy stuff from Taryl and Cousin Jaryl. Well done!
I see real talent !! Slippers adds a dimension! I screw all bolts and screws right back where they started after I disassemble. That way there is ZERO chance of losing a bolt/screw
Must be so fun to make these videos with your friends, family and just cracking up the whole time, I'm an auto tech and let me tell ya, only reason I show up every day is for the Yuk yuks
This guy Jaryljack is Kool damn, I sometimes wish I lived around that area I'd be there fixing the generator taryl sed was no good! these guys are GOOD!
It’s amazing how others work on things he does it the same way my stepdad does puts everything in order that he took it apart me well with able taking a pic of everything with my phone is how I remember how it goes back together
Excellent video. Great detail. Keep up the excellent work Taryl and family. Jaryl, this video is very comprehensive and instructive for a new learner. I believe that I could follow it and do what you just did. This is not true of a lot of videos. Jaryl, please do more videos. Taryl you ever do larger engine/component repair? I'm thinking starters, alternators, LS engine. I really enjoyed this one. Straightening a crankshaft on lawnmower was also an excellent video. I going back to review it a second time. Thanks a million guys.
Hay Taryl, cousin Jaryl was a lot of fun to watch. I think you should put him on the payroll and get rid of some of that dead wood hanging around the shop. another wise he may open up his own shop and that may not be good for business.
Great video, you guys are too funny.great humour and expertise .Jaryl did a great job for a novice 😁. Better be careful Taryl, you're up against some real talent 😁.love your videos, have a great day.
He says he was dumpster diving but looks like you did a little five finger discount my opinion! Though I can tell you I found some pretty good stuff dumpster diving. You got to get the proper tools and snorkel if you’re going to go dumpster diving. Also good pair of sneakers too so you can get away!

@@vzangla , Nah... nothin' horrible like that happened to me.

Cameron Crane I use Amsoil 0W30 in my John Deere garden tractor and it makes a really big difference in fuel consumption.I decreased the fuel consumption by nearly 2 full quarts per hour.
Cameron Crane I stick with STIHL mainly because of the dual compression rings compared to huskys single compression ring.
4 gauge so far from what I've seen all of the professional stuff by husqvarna has atleast 2, there may be some exceptions I haven't seen yet but
Cameron Crane I've had the so-called pro-husky stuff apart too many times.People are constantly telling me this and its not true. The husky stuff(home owner and pro)has only one compression ring and the other ring is a oil ring.STIHL uses TWO compression rings from the cheapest home owner saw all the way up to the 880 magnum series($2,000.00 saw by the way)and ONE oil ring.
