Hello there... Yes you are right. That's a good option, however that does make focusing a bit tricky specially when you want to quickly capture a candid moment on the streets. That's a situation when zone focusing became useful, but I'm not good at that hehehe. Thanks for watching my video.
With all these cameras you can pre focus and open up the front of viewfinder and look through the back for correct orientation or even get a prism finder if that's what you want.
Diane Arbus, which looked liked a petite lady, take street photos which the bulky Mamiya C setup. I wonder if street photographers in general would prefer medium format rangefinder, which is lighter ans easier to shoot with. Mamiya C3 is my daily camera, because I want a relatively compact system that produces bigger negatives than 35mm but doesn't want to commit to large format system, yet. My photography workflow is pretty slow: looking something interesting indoor or outdoor, typically without person. And with a tripod, if necessary. That's not street photography, obviously.
That's very nice, I would love to see some of your work. I think you are right, I think Rangefinder medium format are more suitable for Street Photography. I have also been using a Zenza Bronica lately and I find it much better to use than a TLR for my street photography work. I will make a video about that camera for my channel soon. @@Danielpettitphotography it is Daniel... I never miss a exposure with it. I have also compared the readings with my sekonic and they are always in agreement. You can't go wrong with it and the price is really good for a Ligh meter.
@@Danielpettitphotography It will be perfect for the C220. This light meter has the perfect form factor for that camera. It fits perfectly on the cold shoe. You will not even notice is there ;)
@@ArmandoStreets - i'm a little surprised the camera didn't have a built in one considering the quality of the TLR model...can't speak to the others except the MX. Having said that I have an MX and love it but hate the light meter. I've always used a handheld one for incident metering mostly. I learned how to shoot on a yashica TLR without a light meter. great education. love TLR's. great vid...thanks!

not sure about this TLR but on my rolleiflex u can be aware of your surrounding if u use the sportsfinder

these also have a sportsfinder that will work with the 80 mm lenses. my faves are the 65 and the 105 lenses, however!
