35:16 - The face of Keeley Hawes realizing she underestimated Kevin Bridges 😂 The Bulgarian Horse story will always be my favorite moment on Wilty (together with Bob Mortimer's best bits).
Keely Hawes.. absolute bombshell, beautiful woman.
I am hearing the horse story for the 2nd time and I am wheezing with laughter. 🤣 Again! Just watching David trying to get the facts straight ("...extortionate rate...") and Lee convulsed on the desk would almost have you believing it couldn't possibly be true. But good on him for sticking with it to the end. 😂
One of the funniest segments I've seen on WILTY. 😆
And trading a car for some nice tapas.
27:47 Probably the greatest story in the history of the show. Kevin Bridges clearly went to the Bob Mortimer school of lying - turn the story into absolute chaos and they will never believe it
I've seen every episode of WILTY and the Kevin Bridges buying a horse story is probably my favourite single story of the whole show. But Bob Mortimer is probably the best guest, just a wild ride every time he's on.
I absolutely agree. Well summed up.
Yep, I'll second that!
I'm with you on that one, also every bob mortimer story 😂😂 I love it
Kevin's horse story is very much like a Bob Mortimer story.
The story is brilliant but for me there are two contenders for best story! One has to be Lee's BERMUDA girlfriend and the other is Bob's gulf stream story!
2 hours of content I’ve seen hundreds of times before, but will absolutely watch it again, thank you!!!! 🥰🥰🥰
Ah, I see we’re living the same life 😁. Stay legendary 😎
@@LPKelly380 Clearly we’re winners!!! 😂😂
Same here. Never get bored with WILTY.
Don't threaten me with a good time!
Absolutely agreed - WILTY, QI and 8 out of 10 cats does countdown are so brilliant, I've seen some episodes/moments more times than I can count.
"This is a counterfeit horse. It was just two guys in a costume?" 😂
Even I think it's a lie&, om on his team
@@ritageorge8748 Hands down the best line. 😂😂
Carrying on the timestamps for each bit beyond the chapters:
1:02:29 - Violent dreams
1:06:40 - Smell dead flies
1:10:34 - Building for lunch
1:14:26 - Dumped for a fall
1:16:56 - Stuck in a cot
1:19:48 - Drying system
1:23:59 - Sacked for accents
1:28:20 - Hypnotist fix fix
1:33:52 - Pogo stick lockdown aid
1:38:19 - Orchidometer possesion
1:42:41 - Skull rum
1:45:58 - Ironing bread
1:50:45 - Postman's finger
1:54:00 - Trouser pie
1:58:27 - Nettle school skip
2:01:40 - Banker buried badger
Legend
The humor never fades away no matter how many times I watched WILTY. The comedians are legendary! Thanks for keeping it coming !
Except when they are unhinged like that lady who fired her assistant after sending him into a burning house
Lee Mack and David Mitchel are the perfect polar opposite comedy pair.
@@biocode4478
You mean Sharon Osbourne?
{:o:O:}
@@ansfridaeyowulfsdottir8095 obviously
I remember this eps,, all of the sudden Brain became a comdie
Besides Lee's and David's ridiculous stories, Bob Mortimer has got to be my absolute favorite.
The absurdity of his stories and the way he tells them is just so brilliant, I wish we had more of him on WILTY.
And it always seems to be true
Rumour has it Martin Kemp still hasn't answered how long it took for his arm to heal .
Everybody trying to get Brian Blessed to slow down and instantly giving up was hilarious
As someone who lives in Bulgaria I knew instantly the horse story would be true hahahaha
Why?, are horse rentals and sales on the street common?
@@332tube not common but with the gypsies living here and the stuff you see going on over on the coast especially. It wasn't a surprise to me at all that it was true haha.
@332tube they are indeed
Okay, you’ve sold me on Bulgaria for 2025!!
@@johnahearn7964Neigh
It's sold us both
That Kevein Bridges story never gets old!
I absolutely love the combination of Lee Mack and David Mitchell. It's crazy how well they work together in this duo
“No she wasn’t facing them” 😂😂😂
that comment broke me hahahaha . Bob is the best
😂lol that was a classic!!
😂
Lol!!! Me too 😂😂😂so funny !!🙈
Timestamp please?
I can’t find this part again lol
This will be my cure for a rainy day
8:31 The way Bob says "yeah~~" had me 🤣
I've rewatched this many times and there's still something new that gets you 😂
"BOB, Keep it light!!" 😅
When jo says "you cant muck about" when talking about someone parking for him one of my favourite moments cos you can tell how uptight he is about it 😂
58:45 "I would say that in the world of oddness, a man wearing two hats is no odder than an animal wearing one"
I can listen to Bob telling stories all day every day.
He has a podcast where he basically tells stories.
No one is better at absurd stories than Bob Mortimer. Legend.
James acaster so quick with peter gabriel 😂 love him xx
I remember Standard Fireworks, they were the best brand. And the excitement around early to mid October, in the 1950s, when someone excitedly said, They've got bangers (exploding fireworks, firecrackers, beloved of boys then) in the local shop. Fireworks could only legally be sold about a month before November 5th, Bonfire or Guy Fawkes' Night. Great memories.
There were also Astra & Brocks fireworks. Back in the day!
I remember buying a Roman Candle from our local papershop, then I went back to buy another one and the woman told me, "I can't sell you one of those, you're too young!"
I said, "But you sold me one this morning", and she told me to be quiet about that, and sold me another one to make me go away! lol
On another occasion, I gave myself a minor electric shock when I tried to light a sparkler off of a bar on our electric fire!
I remember the pain shooting up my arm and my hand going numb, then me immediately looking around to make sure nobody had seen me, feeling stupid and sheepish, fully understanding what I'd done wrong and why. lol
I was about nine or ten years old, I guess!
The horse buying story is the most funny thing on this show and bob mortimer stories 😂😂 can watch it on repeat 😂😂♥️
I thought they were joking about Ronnie but he was born in 1930!!
He died in 2016. He looked amazing for his age i should say.
Same ! I would have said he was in his early 70s not 80s.
@@liloupumpkin5278 he really seemed younger to me I would have totally believed 60 something.
Yes, watching this reminds me how many great people we've lost! I still miss Terry Wogan's gentle self-effacing humour. 😢
Oh it was so lovely seeing Terry again! What timing that man had!
Magnificent delivery aswell.
I love the way Claudia's reaction to a dream involving a monkey in silver hot pants serving soup from a hat is "Ohhhh!" like, "Yes of course, good, I have that dream too" 😂💯🔥
Claudia is the most adorable, lovely insane person in the world. 🤪
It's somehow comforting to know that the likely reason we have age restrictions for purchasing fireworks is because of Bob Mortimer!!!
I still chuckle away at Davids incredulity @ Caramel and Waffle
I crushed a few vertebrae in my neck and didn't know it for eleven years. Started getting massive headaches, went to a doctor for an x-ray, and he asked when I broke my neck. I fell off a fifteen foot high cliff while running through the woods in the dark while drunk. I couldn't turn my head for about three weeks, and still went to work the next day. My dumb a$s was nineteen, and I should have been in a hospital but, like most of us, I thought I would be fine lol. It hurts like hell in the rain and cold now that I'm 54 lolol
Couldn’t believe Vivian from the Young Ones was in The first clip!! Love him! He has made me laugh a million times. What a delightful surprise!
VERY METAL !!! \/ \/

It's Vyvyan, as it happens.
Rip- Yes, Thank You👍🤗
As a step-dad to Teenagers i can completely relate to Jo's short story about the dishwasher. But frankly 4nhalf hours is fast tbf
Diane Morgan is an absolute legend 🤣🤣
55:41 "Can I just stop you- no, ok"
LOL
😂its so funny as he is just rambling on 😅
Literally seen each and everyone of them... Still enjoyed this like it's the first time 🤣
I have to say as a fan of these kinds of shows, Mel is in one of my favourites. Funny without realizing shes being saying an innuendo
Mel is lovely, she was great in Taskmaster too
@@felipemaldonado8028Mel is officially nice.
Mel and Claudia are 2 of my favs :D
@28:12the look of confusion after that statement kills me every time 😂😂😂
The way it takes Bob a few seconds to actually realise what he said after he says "No she wasn't facing them" is what makes that entire segment for me 😂😂
Bob is old enough that you could just go and buy fireworks, cigarettes, alcohol at any age 😂 I used to buy cigars for my grandfather when I was 8
The phrase mind your p's and q's comes from parents having their kids get their liquor and making sure they didn't get sold a pint for the price of a quart.
There's a particular clip where Lee gets a prompt to read that is so absolutely ridiculous and unbelievable, that he actually looks directly at the camera, as if looking at the show writers and producers, and says something like "this one is so wild you practically can't believe it." With a sarcastic pointed look.
I saw the clip once and now haven't bren able to find it for weeks and weeks.
Do you happen to know which one?
His map of gas stations?
List of key
"I can smell if there's a dead fly in the room"
It's in the video at 1:06:40
"I can smell a dead fly in the room".
The laugh David has tells he and Lee get great satisfaction when the other has to attempt to pitch an outlandish story the writers have come up with.
I have watched so many times - joyous!
However, every time Bob is decried for his 'Standard Fireworks' I get so upset 😂😂😂
Surely those of a certain age have all heard the Standard Fireworks and jingle and all spent an unhappy hour watching splutters from fountains, rip raps and Catherine wheels.
Light up the Sky with Standard Fireworks 😂😂

I think they were made in Huddersfield.
I am of a certain age! However, I once got hit in the eye by a banger shell, so no fireworks after then.
Can you imagine a sitcom with *David Mitchell* and *Lee Mack,* similar to the Odd Couple? If they were to write or edit the script, wouldn't it be totally hilarious!
Claudia is easily the best. She is just so funny and her acting is amazing
When Rob said "LET ME TALK!" at 52:23 when he was asked the sort of biscuits he used I couldn't stop laughing!
Bob's put down of Debbie McGee was so unwarranted and yet still so funny haha She's very likeable and looks great for her age. She actually took it very well and I think only Bob Mortimer can get away with anything like that :)
Put down?
I don't think you understood the joke.
Did they see the funny side? (fanny. UK slang for pussy.)
No, she wasn't facing them....
How is that a put down?
fanny not funny, thats how i thought it was meant, they didn't see her V
@@vulkanac47 haha I'm not sure but you've added extra mystery to the pot :)
He didn't put her down. It was a fanny joke.
Some say David Haye is still asking Martin how long it took him to recover till this day
I have to tell on myself- for half the badger/Banker story I thought he literally buried a badger WITH the Banker, as in both were dead. 😂😂😂
Re the firework story I can remember my first firecracker night in England (I’m Australian) at 8 and being in a flat when my father laid down newspaper over the carpeted floor to protect them so we could have sparklers indoors as it was too cold to go out. It’s a wonder we didn’t set fire to the place.
The rule with Bob Mortimer is that no matter how outlandish the story, it's probably true.
Kevin bridges and the horse....absolute classic 😂
Love it. David is as sharp as a razor!
One of the best compilation clips on here - good Bobness, great Davidness and the Mackness is off the scale.
Kevin Bridges's horse is an immense story!
Julian looks even better now than whenever his part was filmed.
1:14:37 "I just hit his wheelchair" wow that quick response
This channel is amazing. May good things happen to you ❤️
Standard fireworks are still available at Tesco every year.
Kevin Bridges’ horse story will love with me forever 😂
Yes, at 1:26:15, that is in fact Lee making a reference to a Dolly Parton song to riff on Cariad's American Southerner impression. The man's wit is next-level.
You bought the horse clip is how I got introduced to the show and how I introduce everyone to it lol
I still remember the advert:
Please to remember the 5th of November. Light up the sky with Standard Fireworks.
Remember Remember
The 5th of November
Gunpowder, treason and plot
I see no reason
Why Gunpowder treason
Should ever be forgot
19:14 I'm surprised David didn't chime in and say 'Well every human finds primates attractive, given that that's what we are'
Not every. Asexual humans.
I like how Bob is still like a small boy with no bad intentions, but curiosity gets him to all kinds of trouble. 🙂
Bless you, Ronnie. You always gave it your all. A true star. ⭐️
This is gold.😃👍tanx for the upload.
I LOVE Miles Jupp. He is so good on these shows, I honestly don't know why they don't have him on more.
I remember *Standard* fireworks. They were reliably disappointing. But kids could buy them from unscrupulous newsagents in the 1970s.
I never get sick of Bob's fireworks story
Thank you so much to the beautiful team on this channel for uploading such golden content ❤
Perfect way to end a Monday!
No matter how many times I watch these clips I laugh every time classic clean comedy 💖💖💖🤣🤣😂😂
Please to remember the 5th of November light up the sky with standard fireworks! I remember the ad,
I will never get tired watching this 😅😅❤
She wasn't facing them. The funniest line in this video.
I havent seen these, in this order yet!
There is actually a standard fireworks so this is so interesting as an audience
I just absolutely love this program !💖
Ronny Corbet is just amazing. I'm not sure any of the new crowd could have the studio in stitches by pretending they can't get their glasses on properly.
I keep rewatching this.
thanks i love this show lmao
One more video before I go to bed
1 whole video?
The horse story, bob's house on fire and martin kemp on ibiza. Hilarious.
5:50 Standard Fireworks. Not suitable for indoor use.
Plot Twist: Not was the brand. It was not standard 😂😢😂
We can’t stop here, this is badger country!
You can totally make toast by ironing the bread. I've done it a few times in hotel rooms when I don't feel like going out again in the evenings, especially if I'm travelling alone. But it takes quite a bit of time to do a good job on pita bread, for instance, definitely not something you can do in the morning when you're in a hurry.
omg... that hypnosis one is hilarious. Haven't seen that episods. Classic. That guy is hilarious 😂
Two guys in a counterfeit horse costume is gold.
RIP Ronnie Corbet, legend 🙏
Thank you both for your honesty and appreciation of Ren. He is the definition of the bounce back. A positive focus from dark times, thoughts and actions. He is a master of his craft! a tour de force and his message has connected with so many folks across the globe.
I wish hope on your recovery Nancy!
I was 6 foot by the time I was 13, quite a shoot up for me, my nephew was 6 foot 3 by 16.
Kevin Bridges horse story had me on the floor.
It has some clips I've never seen and can not find as the older episodes are not on BBC Iplayer and Amazon Prime only has the Angus era, but he's not as silly as Rob though but he's brilliant in his own way
🏴☠️🦜🏴☠️🦜🏴☠️
Genuinely might buy bobs autobiography sounds like hes had a bizarre life
I hope you did it's really good
the bacon sandwich one is the most hilarious.
Wow, they really phoned it in towards the end of naming the chapters. 😂
I am put out that the lady was fired for using accents on the phone. Who is hurt by that? How does it negatively impact the delivery of service in any way? Ridiculous.
Good point
I agree
I had to turn the volume up when Brian Blessed came on.
I think my PC is very broken.
1:03:41 Rob morphing into Uncle Bryn for a moment.
i love when David and Lee are clean shaven!!!
As long as there's at least one Bob Mortimer story, I'm in.
I always wonder if there's ever been something written as a lie that coincidentally turns out to be true. I would never think to tell anyone this, but I do have a ritual for drying myself out of the shower. (The important parts are to use a linen towel, and to dry each foot before stepping out of the shower, that way you never need a bathmat.)
