The more I watch this the more I think Mel was playing a character to mix things up. If you think about it, a lot of the best jokes were made at her expense. It made for good TV, and fans of the show haven’t stopped talking about it since!
@@richarddeturner I do think thats a shtick of mel's to be the "annoyed spice girl" but thats why i think its a shtick, she's been more chill on other panel shows multiple times with jokes being made by comedians, She also has a kid with eddie murphy from like 20 years ago when eddie was still pretty funny, she'd have comedic insight despite not being a comedian having had a child with one and work with others. also IMO if you watch never mind the buzzcocks, so many artists have got up during filming and walked out of that show over personal jokes, thats the attitude and actions people who think they're above everyone else would do, Mel doesn't walk off shows or cancel commitments to filming. everybody on the panel including jimmy are professional comedians in either the sketch, writing or stand-up world of comedy. Mel is just a spice girl lol.
@@BeavzMC lool sooo much to unpack here. She was with Eddie for 3 months (9 according to her) and they split up because Eddie didn't think the kid was his so the relationship soured. From what i know, or care about this, she never stops trying to rinse money out of the story and he, i don't believe, has never commented on it. Eddie still is funny but his humour isn't allowed in our first world problem filled existence anymore. She on the other hand is as amusing as a road accident. Now as for MNtB 'so many' huh? what now? Preston, Lemmy and Huey thats it. Preston i think wasn't thick skinned enough for it and neither Lemmy or Huey think they are above anyone else. Didn't she walk off the one show cause the other guest kept talking over her? She's a z-lister so can't really say i know or want to know much about her but whenever she on something i happen to watch she is always stroppy and stuck up.

I think Mel B was brought to the show with all the intention of burning her, the fact she gets annoyed makes it 100% more brilliant, and no better pairing couldve been done, Micky is the embodiment of annoyance 😂😂😂 i say excellent job

And she started to get in on some of the jokes ("looking closer" at Micky, the whole "you picked the wrong song" thing, the Spice Girls references).
