TIP!! when hacking a terminal, hover over garble between the words. If 2 brackets () [] {} are on the same row, you can click it, and they will remove an incorrect password or replenish your attempts. The game never explains this but its so helpful.

The game tells you more than enough, you're bound to mouse over one of them fairly soon. It wouldn't be very fun if games told you every single little thing.
Tip, doing a critical hit will *always* be a guaranteed hit, regardless if the target shot is low chance to hit or even behind a wall.
It is very useful on far targets, targeting enemies' heads or limbs, or hitting targets that is mostly behind cover.
That's huge brain.

Hey Insym, a little tip for the ammo economy, picking up guns give you bonus ammo, that's because it counts the magazine ammo as well, so you can loot all weapons and then drop them later if you're not planning on using or scrapping/selling them. Also I would love a Skyrim playthrough when time comes!
Dont forget you can use Dogmeat to carry items for you. You just have to trade with him.
You can hold Tab key (pipboy button) to light up your pipboy. It'll help you see better in the dark like a flashlight.

Pro tip always hit ghouls in the leg first, then they fall and slow down so much they are an easy kill. Miss a headshot and it can get a hit in on you.

I'm so glad you're continuing this series and also listening to all the dialogue and paying attention to the lore! Some of the story may not be incredible but I still love this game and it's better than a lot of people say. I hope this series will be a longer one!
All mama murphy vision is about main quest and contain little details about the quest
Also if u maxed recruitable character (Companion) affinity, u will unlock secret quest about the companion itself (most of them is about backstory of the companion)

From what I have heard, giving Psycho to Mama Murphy I believe always kills her. But it's nice to see you found out, cause I never indulged her chem addiction lol

If you'd like recommendations for perks, Insym:
Gun Nut: Allows crafting of advanced weapons upgrades at work benches.
Armourer: Same thing, but for armour. Also includes power armour.
Medic: Makes Stimpaks and Radaway more efficient.
Local Leader: Allows for linking workbenches between settlements (as in, if you have 100 pieces of steel scrap in Sanctuary, for example, it can be used in another settlement without having to manually carry it over yourself), and also allows you to build your own stores in your settlements.
Pack Mule: Allows you to carry more, and allows you to run even when overencumbered, but at the cost of AP.
Love to see you playing Fallout 4. Its my favorite game! I'm only half way through the video but i'm so excited to watch you play this through! You missed a couple of Magazines in the raider areas. 1 is in the Beantown Brewery beside the elevator you used to exit, near the matress & green military box. 1:18:28 The other is at the Federal Station(?) Stockpile it's in the room you fought Red & read the terminal, the magazine is on the table in the center of the room. 1:01:32 (: Also Prewar money is considered junk so putting away all your junk at the Sanctuary settlement stashed all your prewar money into the Workshop. Trashcan Carla will indeed buy your prewar mons! I can't wait to see more Fallout!♡
If you open up your junk tab in the pip-boy you can press C (default) to open Component View, which will show you exactly how many of each component (screws, adhesive, oil etc) exists in all your currently held junk items combined. You can then tag individual components, and from now on anytime a junk item in the world contains one of the tagged components there will be a little magnifying glass next to its name when you're looking at it. Leveling up the Scrapper perk also makes these "tagged" junk items and any containers holding them glow when you approach them.

I highly recommend the Sim Settlements 2 mod, if you’re ever interested in mods.
Also! You can dress up Dogmeat with dog armor (which you loot from dead enemy dogs), bandannas and wielding goggles. This will protect him in battle and make him look extra adorable!
Utilize the chem stations to make stimpaks, rad x, radaway, med x, etc. Select the aid option in the chem station to make them!
I recommend increasing your gun nut, armorer, blacksmith, locksmith, demolition expert, and nerd rage so you can make various modifications to items that are vital for survival. Probably strong back as well, since you loot the crap out of everything. While looting, check for keys or passwords. It’ll get you into rooms when your perk levels for lockpicking and hacking are still low.
It’s been a blast so far watching you play one of my favorite franchises ever. I hope you consider Skyrim, Evil Within games, or the Bioshock games for RPGs!
Collecting a bunch of weapons is very useful as it will not only give you lots of materials(I think) but will also unlock modifications for that specific type of gun you scrapped!
Another tip: you can disarm mines before they go off by going up to them and pressing the interact button to disarm it and then you can pick it up.
That's only in Fallout 76. Scrapping weapons in that game unlocks new mod plans, whereas in Fallout 4, you already know all of the mods and just need the necessary perks, level and scrap items.

In the sewer that you cleared out (Walden Point on the map) you missed a legendary weapon on the table.
Also loot the raider - to get his key that unlocks master safe and door.

in the hacking minigame, after you've had 3 tries look for sets of opening and closing brackets, with or without gibberish between them such as < > ( ) [ ] and similar. click them to remove duds and sometimes reset your tries.
If you do a Skyrim, i will probably be there EVERY stream. Skyrim is my all time favorite game

33:29 there was a legendary weapon on the bench. It gives you a 20% chance to cripple legs
I'd be down for a full series of this. I've recently been playing the VR version of this and having a good bit of fun. I even made myself a cheap VR gun stock so I could aim weapons a bit better; it makes a world of difference.
Don't forget that you can upgrade your weapons and armor at workbenches. Damage, scopes, silencers and all that. You can make superweapons

Anytime you’re in an area that’s lower level and has a master lock (or high level lock depending on how low) there’s almost always a way to unlock it. More common for doors/terminals.
Also, I finished the series Saturday, started playing and saw this video to see you going to the same places as me lol. I did the same thing with those turrets at federal ration, bad disengage terminal placement as who would go straight in?

You can get purified water from the workshop in your settlements. You can also make your settlers work. Build a scrapper workstation. They put everything they find in workshop too

These fallout series of insym making my day happier than ever, hoping we get a skyrim blessing too..
My main perks I aim for is Idiot Savant 1st no matter my Intelligence like my new playthrough on PS5 the other day with 10 Int it procced quite frequently early on! Otherwise useful when just pops then 2nd Grim Reapers Sprint as decent chance to get full AP with VATS kills then damage for current main weapon type. Main 3 I target first.
Cannot wait for next episode and omg never knew about Mama Murphy! Never gave her a second chem since the first time from years ago lol. Love the off stream vids dude! Especially over hour long ones! Also you can command dogmeat and other companions to grab things for you should like want to pickup one last thing before you fast travel back to store/sell everything 👍

It may be a bit grindy and unnecessary at lower levels, but power armour pieces have no weight when they're fully damaged and de-equip from the frame, and you can actually still damage the armour even after you've killed the enemy wearing it. Raider armour is virtually worthless, but once you start randomly encountering more valuable armour marks, it's usually worth keeping a melee weapon in your inventory so you can break it all down and carry it weight-free to either sell or repair and store in a settlement for future use, especially if you're playing off stream and don't mind spending a little bit of time punching dead NPCs like it's a mining minigame

As for the V.A.T.S., it already shows you the damage it would do if you add another shot. That's why it shows it will kill the enemy, but doesn't do it. Always add one extra
Another lil tip if you didn’t know, you can hold down tab for a flashlight, helpful at night so you don’t miss any loot

To fire those Mini nukes you need a fatman not a slur but its what the weapon is called in the game there is one behind a robot sitting on a car in the robotics disposal ground north east of sanctuary hills
Make sure you pick up weapons that contain ammo that you're using because the weapons themselves will have ammunition left and if you do not grab them you will be leaving hundreds of rounds of ammunition behind.
A tip for getting caps early is to make a bunch of extra water purifiers then sell the water produced in your workshop for 5-7 caps each.

TIP: use better weapon, you use still a default 10mm pistol, while you picked up a modded one, which will have better stats, and uses the same ammo as the default one

@Insym I love your Fallout 4 and Shadows of Doubt playthrough, but if you only have time for one off-stream playthrough at a time, I think it would be better to put Shadows of Doubt on hold and play Fallout while the TV series is still hot.
