I agree, this is Lowes best year by far. Overall the props look really good, just maybe not for the prices they are listed at. I hope the nautical theme works out for them sales wise so that we get new interesting themes in the future. Thanks for watching!

The Bone Collector ended up being really cool. The face animation with his awesome phrase and voice. Such a creepy and imposing prop. And with the price hike on their other props, I was happy to see the 12 footers are still $400. I hope to be getting him too. Thanks for watching and leaving the comments!
Like you, I think the smaller end props/jump scare props and the bone collector are the best. I still think you might be able to use something from the nautical range in your haunt this year.. possibly the witch… but if I had to pick between her and a new Lethal Lily, it would be Lily all the way.

I definitely would buy a new Lily over the Sea Witch. Lily is tops for me. I think I will like her more than even the new Frankenstein's monster. I am considering some of the smaller jump scare props though, they just seem so classic Halloween. Thanks for watching!

Dig the pop-up tombstone (at least in the video). Good thing to add to the cemetery to mix it up a bit. Better than spirits little head turn one.
I agree. I think it would be a fun addition to the graveyard. Speaking of that Spirit prop, every store I went into I saw the prop broken. The head would either just keep spinning, or it would be facing sideways. You would think a prop that simple wouldn't break so easily. Thanks for watching!

I really love the look of this prop, I just wish he gave us more animation for the price. Also, it would be cool if he spoke his phrase and then the skull lit up at the end to reveal he is already dead. If he was a bit cheaper I would be buying him too, but with so many cool props (and little budget) I don't think he'll be coming home with me. You'll have to post a cool video of him so I can check him out.

The deep sea diver is now for sale online at Lowes in case you are still interested in him. I think the Ghost Captain is online too. Most of the others are not for sale yet.
Dear scaredad could you please keep in mind middel aged people also watch this channel. The huge difference in volume between your voice and the fx and video clips almost gave me a heart attack❤😅. Loved the content though!
I totally did the same to myself, lol. I always go back a day or two later and watch my videos so I can critique and learn from them. I had headphones on and nearly jumped out of my seat. The night I was editing my son was waiting for me to play with him and I just completely forgot to check the audio levels before uploading. Another thing that bothered me was when I filmed I let the laptop take up too much of the screen. Oh well, live and hopefully learn. Glad you survived my audio flub and appreciate you watching!
@@ScareDad well you really earned your name though. It scared me! Lol. In my experience watching other tubers. Never rush bringing something out. Play with your kid and or go out for a walk before uploading. I mean i come up with the best ideas when sitting on the toilet 🤣.
@@lemn8 The toilet and shower are where geniuses are born, lol. I definitely know better than to rush things, but once in a while I still do it (then regret it later.) Quick question, what servos did you end up using for your skeleton arms? I am trying to decide what to use for mine, and was curious what you used. I hope we get to see another killer Halloween show from you. I showed a few people and they all loved it!
For me, the sculpt on the sea witch's face leaves a lot to be desired. It's too bland - I don't know if that is the best word for it, but it is what I can come up with now. Thanks for the video SD!
I agree, I don't think it is terrible, but it could be a lot better. Part of it may be the mouth, that looks off to me. She is still one I want to see in person, and then I want to see her on sale, then a purchase would be easier to justify. As always, thanks for watching!

YES! These is a cool static Kraken prop coming out. He is on my watch list too. Didn't see a promotional video for him yet, but maybe that just because it's a static prop. He definitely might become part of our haunt this year.

Agreed! Home Depot is still my favorite this year, but I don't feel it is as strong as past years (maybe videos will change that.). Lowes had potential but mostly underwhelming for the price. Party City has nothing I am interested in yet. Spirit is always hit or miss for me, but with the Carnival theme I am not expecting much. What is your favorite 2024 retail prop so far? Mine is the 12 ft Home Depot Reaper, assuming he is cool in the final pics/videos. Thanks for watching!

Clowns are over done. I like the deep sea direction as something new, but the props are way overpriced for what they do. To be honest, the tombstone pop up is my fave.
Both of the cheaper pop-up props are my favorites. The tombstone is just classic Halloween and would be a fun addition to any yard haunt. These prices are going to kill Lowes, Home Depot has as good if not better quality for a much better price. The deep sea stuff is kind of cool, and you could definitely make a pretty cool haunt in that theme, I just wonder if it is too niche to sell well. Hoping their gamble pays off so we get to see more original ideas in the future.
Not a fan of Lowes marketing videos. They tend to put a lot of edits/camera shakes in the promo videos to make them look better than what they probably are.
I know what you mean. They are well done promotional videos, but the extra lighting and camera movement makes you wonder what you are actually getting with the prop. I would prefer if they had these videos and another plain lit video that just shows the prop working. Thanks for watching!
