  • Cthulhu - one of the Great Old Ones - and possibly H.P. Lovecraft's most popular creature is now a new animatronic from Party City for Halloween 2024!
The theme song, Night Scapes, was written and recorded by Jodiinn. This song should be played at every Halloween party! Listen to the amazing full song here:

They really should get us involved early in the the design process to give feedback - the props would be so much better

Agreed! I would love to be involved in the design process. Maybe someday. For now we are stuck making our own adjustments on retail props. Oh well, I am at least happy they are attempting something like Cthulhu, the more cool ideas like this the better!

Party City, for a company that was in danger of closing their doors last year has really broght some products to the market that just seems more evolved than Spirit, HD, and Lowes. Great video, intro was hillarious. The fire eater was a great concept but was not well put togather, skill crane reskin waa wack

Party City definitely brought their A game last year and instantly became a major player for Halloween. Unlike Home Depot and Lowes, Party City is moving into Spirit's area of jump scare props too. I am not liking the line-up as much this year (too many carnival/clown props so far), but there is still plenty more to be revealed. As always, thanks for watching!

Thanks for the kind words. Excited to see more about this guy. Maybe he will be part of their Tuesday reveal tomorrow? This is definitely the year for a good nautical themed haunt. Thanks for watching!

Cthulhu looks decent… but I don’t know enough about the character (apart from him being a giant sea monster) to make him exciting for me. I think he looks good.. but a little like the headless knight, I don’t have a good enough connection to the character unfortunately. The creepy goat though!.. who in the love of satan thought that up!! 😮😂
    Great video bud 💀🎃👻

That's the problem with this prop, Cthulhu done perfect would be a cool prop for anyone, not just fans of H.P. Lovecraft. This version is a decent start though. Maybe switching his head with the Ghost Captain from Lowes would give that Davy Jones feel you were talking about in our video.
The two headed goat is super creepy, I think a lot of people are going to love adding him to their haunts. Maybe just a bit too creepy for me, lol.

Why is Embers so expensive! For that amount just get the inferno pumpkin king from HD!

I agree that I would rather have the Inferno Pumpkin Skeleton from Home Depot. Embers isn't a bad prop, just not sure he is something I would consider buying. Maybe if I could see him in person I would change my mind. Thanks for watching!
